BEDFORD C A DEBONAIR  1969   1595 cc   petrol    4 speed gearbox      MOT    July  2014    Tax exempt

 Fiberglass Body      Original Martin Walter  Conversion   But  has been completely renovated   5 yrs ago to our own spec .  so interior is not original apart from it still has the original cooker and over cab cupboards  and front seat that folds flat for a small bed.

The rear double bed is slightly wider than the original. nbsp;   3 way Fridge . Cooker oven and grill. nbsp; stainless steel sink and draining board. nbsp; Wardrobe. nbsp; toilet compartment with flush toilet and fold down basin.

We completely stripped the  inside and relined and insulated walls and ceiling.    with new roof vents. nbsp;     new wooden floor and floor covering. nbsp;  2 gas bottles under floor. nbsp;   12 volt  and 240 electric   plus zig unit with 12 volt charger and is fitted with an auxillary battery. nbsp;

3 strip lights . nbsp;  all new furniture  cupboards  plus  seating / bed

Brakes. radial tyres. exhaust. clutch. nbsp;seat belts  all good. nbsp;  engine runs very well but does use a small amount of oil on a long run.

Being a fibreglass body  you dont get water leaks. nbsp;  another good thing with the debonair  they are high enough so you dont hit your head when getting in the rear door.

i spent lots of money restoring the van and have lots of receipts   we have been to lots of car shows and it gets lots of interest   hopefully someone will look after it  and enjoy it as much as we have .    this is a reluctant sale as  our circumstances has changed .

we are a member of the dormobile owners club     viewing  welcome anytime.

from Dane, dated 29 march 2014
Is the Debonair still for sale? Does it remain a 4 berth after the reconditioning? Is the engine and gearbox good? Is there a contact phone number?

Thanks.

from Zoe-Amber Drew, dated 18 february 2014
Hello, Firstly what a truly beautiful camper. We are about to take our twin toddlers around Europe, and so wondering if this has any rear seat-belts or the ability for us to fit them? Can you confirm if it's a four-birth (as often is the case with the Debonaire), that the fridge/stove and water-pump work and if it has an electric hook up? Also, does the leisure battery have split charge? What days are you around if we want to view it in the next couple of days and is the mobile number I can contact you on to arrange? Thanks so much, Zoe
