It's killing me to sell my lovely Mustang. my circumstances recently changed & I will not be able to finish this car as I would wish. Everyone who sees it loves the car - even as it looks now! A real head turner & true American musclecar.

This is a complete car. but will need restoration to make it perfect again.

Bodywork:
The sills. main chassis rails & overall frame are in remarkably good solid condition for the year. but the car will need at least the following: Both front wings. door skins. torque boxes & rear wheel arches / wing repair panels. work to trunk area & rear light panel & roof (It's had a sunroof fitted badly at some point in it's history which will need removal / attention. or fit a vinyl roof).

Included in the sale are over £500 worth of new panels & parts including: Tail light panel. RH & LH trunk floor. rear brace. & bumper brackets. rear valance. rear spring hangers. battery support frame. front shock towers. almost new rear KYB gas shox & used but rust free fuel tank & sender. Includes new Repro 1970 Mustang Owner's Manual and engine bay decal kit!

Mechanical:
The Ford 351 Cleveland V8 has a Holley carb & Edelbrock manifold. Mallory breakerless distributor. radiator looks good & doesn't leak. the engine was running strong some time ago & turns over ok. but a rebuild would be strongly advised. The brakes. suspension & running gear could do with an overhaul / replacement. Rare period Wolf Race slot mag alloys need a clean up. otherwise good condition. White letter tyres have good tread all round & hold good pressure. but I would suggest replacement due to age. Auto transmission is 3 speed as standard.

Interior:
The interior looks original & the black vinyl seats & matching door cards are easily good enough to put back in. no rips or marks. - unless you want the 'Brand new' look. New carpets & headliner will be required.

ALL PARTS for these cars are readily available from UK specialist suppliers or online from the States within a week! Parts prices are surprisingly cheap.
These cars can easily sell for £15K - £20K+ if well done!

The car is currently a rolling shell with the engine & gearbox still installed. front end. grille. lights etc assembled back on the car. interior & all other parts are inside the car well wrapped & labelled where necessary.
