Here we have a unique 1971 Ford F100 Long Bed truck. You don't see a truck like this every day! Done up as a slight hot rod. but not over the top. Here are the basics:
Sought-after 390ci engine with the C6 automatic transmission. Motorcraft 2bbl carb (rebuilt). Flowmaster long tube ceramic headers. Dual exhaust. New wheels and tires (15x8 in the front. 15x10 in the back & the tires have less than 500 miles on them). with a slight lift to the rear. 90. 00 original miles. Custom grille. Bed cover that tilts up for easy access to the bed.  Interior was redone with new seat covers. carpet (this model was the no frills model originally with no carpet just a floor mat) and extra sound deadener. new arm rests. When I got the truck it had no dash pad. found an excellent original one. Paint is recent (Mango Tango). it's not the best in the world but it attracts attention. All lights (other than headlights) have been converted over to LEDs. looks really cool at night! New front shocks. new battery. new starter. new starter relay. spark plugs. valve cover gaskets and valve covers. Extremely solid car. floors. bed. cab mounts. (that's one of the main reasons I got it in the first place). It has power steering. but that's about the only option it has. I also have an extra front bumper (not blacked out) that's in very nice shape that's included in the sale.
So the story on this is that a gentleman started to build this out a few years back and then passed away. It sat in his garage for awhile. and then I picked it up. I've done a lot to the truck and it's about 95% done. but I have a baby due in less than a month and that is taking priority over my truck. This truck is a real head turner and I've always gotten compliments on it when I take it out. I left the bed a blank slate for the next owner. it's in it's original condition. I was thinking of either a bed liner or that spray on type of liner. but was leaving that as the "last thing to do" and never got around to it.
Couple things it needs: the heater controls don't work I think the cables are either disconnected or broken. It was like that when I bought it. I have the replacement module but haven't installed it. Transmission linkage is slightly off. so that when it's showing Neutral you're in Drive. when showing Drive you're in D2. This hasn't ever caused me a problem just want to disclose it. Driver's side needs exhaust manifold gasket replaced so when you're driving there's a bit of noise from that. Occasionally. when you turn the key to start the truck. it doesn't start unless you put it in Neutral. I believe this is a bad neutral safety switch. again it was like that when I got it. I think the timing needs to be adjusted slightly. I was planning on putting either a Holley or Edelbrock 4bbl on (I have both. and for an extra $100 on top of your purchase price I'll include either one if you want them). The cassette/radio doesn't work (it's not original). When MAC's sent the new arm rests. they included screws which were too long. as a result the windows only go down about 1". This is easily correctable just go to Home Depot and get shorter screws but since it's been winter I haven't been worrying about putting the windows down. All of this amounts to a good solid weekend of work & then you're set to go with a kick ass truck like nothing else out there!
The main negative I have is the truck bed: the exterior belt line (what we call the bump) is pretty bumpy. I've tried to show it in the photos. Some work was done to this by the previous owner. but I'm not sure what he was aiming to do. I had planned to either put a vinyl decal along the belt line. or put the metal strips back on. New. the metal strips are about $600 from LMC. I may have a decent used set available that I will throw in with the accepted offer.
I maybe be interested in trades or trades + cash (your cash. not mine) but really looking just to sell outright. I have a video on Youtube of the truck but can't figure out how to put it in this listing. just email me and I'll send you the link.
Any questions. please ask. I've tried my best to explain everything I know about this truck in the description but may have missed one or two things.
