62 Vette, Roman Red Black interior #’s Matching 327/360hp Fuel Injected 4-Speed

In its final year of production. the ’62 is widely considered the best of the solid axle Corvettes. By the end of the C1 run. GM had taken the car as far as it could in its current configuration. but none the less. there were changes. The most significant being the introduction of the 327ci small block engine! With this powerplant. hp and torque were up. especially in the solid lifter engines! The interior was roomier. as well. Exterior wise. the most noticeable change was the absence of the contrasting color cove with stainless surround. Instead you got a solid color with a smoother cove. for a cleaner look overall. All told. the ’62’s were a fitting end to Solid Axle production!

The ’62 being offered here is an excellent example of what was then the ultimate Corvette; The Fuelie. A 327/360hp. 4 speed E ticket that still offers exceptional performance over 50 years later! The car is very original with a few exceptions. two being one repaint in the correct Roman Red and a partially restored interior. This matching #’s fuelie. starts up instantly. idles. runs. shifts and stops just as it should and is a blast to drive!
