And with a clean body that’s dropped on a custom suspension. fitted with a leather-lined custom fitted ZL-1 black interior and bolted to a hot LS7/Z06 692HP engine . it’s the kind of killer classic that makes factory-fresh bowties shake in their run-flats. The beneficiary of a professional. frame-off restoration that was just completed in 2013. this slick ‘69 Camaro features a seamless custom appearance that’s highlighted by an immaculate coat of liquid black high gloss paint. Take one look down the sides of the car’s rock-solid body and it becomes very obvious that great care was taken to ensure every panel is aligned to better-than-factory standards. Step closer to that body’s mirror-like pigment and check out its straight and ripple-free surfaces. which are a product of both clean OEM sheetmetal and high quality replacement panels. Grab the pivotal pieces of that well-adjusted sheetmetal and experience the kind of excellent fit that’s right at home reflecting a summertime car show. Then step back to admire one very well-done pro-tourer that’s built to exacting specifications thanks to a great combination of skilled workmanship and first-rate finishing techniques

That slick combination of metallic pigment and high class trim certainly is pretty. but now it’s time to get serious. Cranking out 576 ground thumping rear wheel horsepower. the lightweight. high performance LS7 rumbling beneath this car’s hood is a technological testament to the old rule: more cubic inches equals more horsepower! Derived from GM’s very successful Corvette racing program. the brutal mill utilizes forged main bearings. a forged steel crank. titanium connecting rods. a high lift cam and flat-top. aluminum pistons to flat out whip pretty much anything with four wheels. A perfect amount of air and fuel is supplied by a stock GM throttle body that’s cinched to a cold air induction tube and K&N reusable filter element. That air and fuel mixes in a factory LS7 intake and progresses to CNC-ported cylinder heads that are fitted with a combination of titanium intake valves and sodium-filled exhaust valves. Immediately following combustion. spent gases roar through 2. 5 inch stainless pipes via custom long-tube headers. And a big radiator. quick-spinning Spal puller fan. a new Wegner ignition system and a polished Vintage Air Front Runner system ensure rocket-like acceleration. The 692hp LS7 block rides in a body-matched bay that displays OEM-level attentiveness to both engineering and assembly. And details like a clean radiator shroud. a flush firewall.

Take a gander under this wicked F-Body and you’ll find a fully detailed chassis that mixes new age technology with old school durability. Powder Coated Subframe. ock-solid floorpans wear a smooth coat of liquid black paint which is every bit as well-finished as the car’s first rate exterior. At the center of those floors. a fresh 6-speed utilizes a Ringbrothers clutch reservoir to spin a familiar 12-bolt posi rear end that’s fitted with high quality axles and stout 3. 73 gears. That buff drivetrain hangs in a  Hotchkis Sport Suspension Subframe-Connectors. which makes excellent use of Detroit Speed tubular control arms. That world-class suspension rides inside Red calipers. nbsp;PBR Baer 6 Piston Cross Drilled brakes up front and PBR Baer 4 Piston Cross Drilled rear brakes. that squeeze big. slotted rotors via a Baer proportioning valve and Detroit Speed brake booster. Those brakes cling to a modern power steering system that ensures the car turns as well as it accelerates. Exhaust flows from the aforementioned custom headers into custom. true-dual pipes that breathe through an X-shaped crossover and polished SLP mufflers. And torque melts the pavement thanks to painted Forgeline ZX3P wheels and 245/35ZR19 front and 305/35ZR19 rear Nitto NT555R Extreme Drag tires. As you can tell by our pictures. not a detail was missed on this Chevy’s fully-sorted undercarriage. And the car runs and sounds every bit as good as it looks: ready to seek and destroy.
