After a car that dreams are made of? Always wanted to own a real American Icon? This is one BEAUTIFUL - MOSTLY ORIGINAL SURVIVOR - 1973 Mustang Convertible !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Yes it is a RARE - 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible believe it or not as they only made 11. 53 Mustang convertibles in 1973 ! This is a car that NEVER fails to turn heads everywhere it goes and it shows. runs. and drives VERY WELL indeed. 1973 was the last year for this body style and they tell me it's the year to have.  We just purchased this Mustang from the 80 year old owner who lives in Colorado and has owned it for over 20 years and as you can tell in the pictures it was his pride and joy for sure !! This BEAUTY was bought new at Lenberger Ford in Stony Ridge. nbsp;Ohio and six months later the owner moved to Denver. Colorado where it has been all of these years until we recently brought it to Idaho.  It still retains it's FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted Ford driver's door jam mounted data  sticker. FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted Ford dash mounted VIN plate AND copies of the ORIGINAL FACTORY build sheet and the  ORIGINAL new car dealership window sticker. nbsp;all of which are shown in pictures below. I drove this car as my daily driver for nearly two weeks and I assure you it runs and drives GREAT !! This car is a sweet driver and cruises down the freeway at 75+ mph as smooth as can be. It handles tight and with power steering it is a two finger driver. Nothing needed on this one to drive away. IT'S READY TO ENJOY !! This BEAUTY is in great mechanical condition and everything works well except the original clock. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself. You won't be disappointed !! 

It has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - Code "H" - 351 Cleveland - V8 Motor in it and is running very well indeed. The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL intake manifold. ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds. nbsp; ORIGINAL "Ford" scripted valve covers. ORIGINAL carb and the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing. Sounds good too with the  BRAND NEW  factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "X" - Select Shift - FMX three speed automatic transmission  that also functions very well. The MOSTLY FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "CA" -Black Knitted vinyl interior is BEAUTIFUL and is in GREAT shape including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black knitted vinyl front bucket seats. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl center console. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black knitted vinyl rear bucket bench seat. VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Black vinyl door panels with correct  faux wood grain inserts. nbsp;VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl dash. nbsp;VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl dash pad with one small crack. VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge clusters including a 120mph speedometer. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL Mustang deluxe steering wheel. nbsp; VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl sunvisors and VERY NICE Black carpeting. In my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer ORIGINAL interior in a 40 year old car than the one this car has. UNBELIEVABLE !! All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is soft. supple and in GREAT condition for being ORIGINAL. This is one sharp car indeed ! This Mustang is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This RARE Pony has outstanding looks and  OUTSTANDING power as well ! It is nicely equipped including  WORKING FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING that has just been professionally serviced and retrofitted to R134A including a new compressor. factory power steering. nbsp;factory power brakes with disc's on the front. nbsp;tilt steering column. factory gauge package including a 120 mph speedometer. nbsp;nice black vinyl power convertible  top with a correct Glass rear window and a NICE matching Black vinyl boot. good heater and de-froster. original day / night rear view mirror. nbsp;original clock which is no longer working. nbsp;dual color matched  remote exterior sport side view mirrors. good factory tinted glass. factory back up lights. Sony "IntelliTuner" AM / FM / Cassette player digital radio. power wipers and front and rear seat belts.

 

These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners. any of which would be pleased to own this one.  The suspension and electrical system on this BEAUTY seem to be in good working order. This Ford is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find RARE vintage Classic Mustang Convertible. UNCRACKED and BEAUTIFUL !! Check out the FACTORY ORIGINAL chrome Mustang Magnum Rally wheels with VERY NICE "Pony" center caps wrapped in a set of good whitewall steel belted radials. boy does this combination look outstanding on this car and really retains that "Clean Factory Original" look !! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless steel exteior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including a VERY NICE ORIGINAL chrome rear bumper. VERY NICE ORIGINAL color matched front bumper. nbsp;NICE ORIGINAL badging and a NICE Black vinyl power covertible top with the correct glass rear window.  The CLEAN - SOLID Trunk also sports a good gray vinyl liner and a full size spare tire. This car is an outstanding cruiser for your local cruise night or show-n-shine! This vehicle is very presentable with respect to the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below. This is a NICE - DRY - Colorado - Idaho high mountain desert - western vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot ! Again. in my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer MOSTLY ORIGINAL interior than the one in this BEAUTY !!
