‘Finished about 2 months ago. Last week I had the car at a local shop for wheel alignment. I was told by a guy who has been around cars for a very long time. that this was the nicest Maverick he had ever seen. '

This is a 1970 Ford Maverick in restored condition. The paint is new and was done correctly. All door handles. door locks. trim. etc were removed for the paint job.

there are a few minor scratches. It's 2-stage paint and is a beautiful color.

My friend and I spent the past 16 months building what has to be one of my all time favorite builds. I am a Ford enthusiast to the core. I have been building Ford's for over 35 years.

The following is a list of features: 1970 Ford Maverick Grabber…(The Grabber hood. Seats. Rear Axle. 302 CID Engine. Grille and a few other odds and ends were found on a factory 1972 Grabber).

The engine has been completely gone through and freshened. all seals replaced. The heads were milled. new valve guides and a valve job. Brand new Aftermarket Harmonic Balancer. Ford Motorsport Hi-torque Mini-starter. Ford Racing Slant Black Valve Covers. new belts and all hoses. New RAM Billet Steel Flywheel. RAM Power Grip 10 ½” Clutch. MSD Wires. Billet Distributor. 6AL-2 Ignition System and Street Blaster Coil. Holley 51-12-150 Fuel Pump. New Alternator. Comp Cams complete Hi-Energy Hydraulic Cam set (complete with cam. lifters. valve springs. keepers. retainers. and timing set). Aluminum Edelbrock 4-Barrel Intake and Holley Carburetor.

Some COOL Features: $400. 00 LED Headlights (these are awesome). Calvert Cal Tracs fully adjustable Traction bars. Complete Global West Front Suspension (including coil-over shocks with adjustments for compression and rebound. have you priced their stuff?). New urethane sway bar links and new sway bar bushings. Red Top Gel Battery with custom built aluminum battery tray. matching custom machined door lock knobs. blinker lever and front bucket seat release levers. Billet gas cap.

Factory Ford freshly rebuilt Close-Ratio Top Loader 4-Speed with warranty (Ratio's are 2. 32. 1. 69. 1. 29 and 1. 00) Transmission Part Number C8AR-7006-D W2 Date J12. Tag RUG AH 10385.

Parts replaced in transmission: Syncro Rings. Syncro Ring Kits. Hardware. Keys/Springs. Front Bearing. Rear Bearing. small parts kit. bushing. seals. cluster pin. gasket. OEM Bolts. Magnetic fill plug. Case was media blasted. steam cleaned. painted and clear coated. all threaded holes cleaned and tapped.

Hurst Competition + Shifter and Installation kit. Brand new Hi-Po 289 Exhaust Manifolds. Custom built Aluminized 2 ¼” Exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

New Ford 8” Posi-traction Differential with 3. 80 gear ratio.

Auto Meter Gauges. Everything that was fabricated to include the gauge cluster. door panels. center console/cup holder along with the hood hinges and shock tower supports and frame-to-motor mounts were powder coated in black hammer tone.

The Wheels are Steel Smoothies…15x8's in the rear and 15X7's in the front ordered with custom offsets and powder coated satin black. Tires are BF Goodrich…235-70/15 Rear. 225-60/15 Front. The tires fit well and don't rub anywhere.

Stereo: JL Audio Subwoofer (custom built box). JL Audio C269LX 6X9 3-way speakers. Alpine CDE-136BT Receiver with Bluetooth. USB and integrated phone connectivity. JL Audio XD500/3 AMP. (The stereo sounds incredible…no distortion at full volume…should you choose to crank it :)

The Grabber hood was stripped down to bare metal. primed. blocked and painted inside and out. The front bucket seats. and rear bench seat have been completely re-upholstered…They look fantastic. The rear door panels were restored and painted. the rear deck was upholstered prior to installing the JL Audio Speakers.

Little things also replaced along the way: new heater core. voltage regulator. solenoid. new clutch pedal-to-floor seal. steering column to firewall seal. new rear leaf spring shackles and bushings. new door-to-body weather stripping. trunk seal. and cowl seal…. new outer seat hinge covers. led dash lights and inner dome light with new dome light cover. All new wheel bearings. axle bearings. seals. etc… New U-joints along with balancing the drive shaft. New speedometer cable. Billet Specialties window cranks. New Brake Master Cylinder. Dynamat throughout. and other interior insulation along with brand new carpet.

This car is absolutely spectacular! It looks like it came from the factory with a 4-speed. It has the correct steering column for a floor shift car. (I may have found the last one in the country). It was originally a 6 cylinder. 3 speed column shift car. so the clutch pedal was already there.

Have all receipts to prove all above listed items. I have more money in this car than my asking price. This does not include the HUNDREDS of hours put into completely stripping. priming and painting the engine compartment. hood. fabrication. and obvious attention to detail.

Issues with my health have forced me to sell this car. I just finished it. It may have 80 miles on it. The car was properly built with extreme care. by someone who pays particular attention to detail and function. This is a one-of-a-kind Maverick…It captures the attention of people where ever I've taken it. is very street-able and fun to drive. Sometimes I just like to hear the engine while other times. it's quite cool to crank up the stereo.

I have a short video taken of the car running in front of my house. I would be happy to e-mail this video to you.

Please feel free to e-mail with any questions. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping (I will do what ever I can to assist with shipping from my end)
