Complete frame off restoration of a 1957 150 Fuel Injection tribute.   Car is absolutely restored as you would receive it from the factory. with some minor modifications.   The concept was to create a pre Black Widow.   This is an original California black plate car. The car has a completely restored (dyno tuned) 1957 Fuel Injection system. This car represents the 1957 Chevrolet 150 Utility sedan which was a COMPLETE delete car.
Sun visor delete

Door handle delete (interior)
Rear seat delete
Rear window roll up delete.
The car has a Muncie 4 speed (M21). 2. 5 inch exhaust w/H pipe. 4 wheel drum brakes. manual steering. manual brakes. California single seam frame. California one piece bumper. black cobblestone interior. rubber floor mat. era correct  Sun tachometer on steering column. under dash 2 speed Raingear wiper system (original wiper motor kept in engine compartment for appearance). 14 inch wheels with dog dish hubcaps (poverty caps).
Basically everything on the car was either restored or replaced. which includes all glass. rubber. stainless. polyurethane bushings. brake components. chrome and of course. paint. The engine was completely rebuilt. It is a 1967 Corvette 327 dressed to look like a 283.   The Fuelie unit is an original 1957 and was purchased and restored at a cost of about 17K. it was completely disassembled. cadmium plated. restored. assembled. calibrated and dyno tuned on the car.   That number is for the fuelie unit ONLY but does include all original 1957 fuelie components (air filter. intake. breather. fuelie unit and distributor).

The car runs beautifully.   I was suppose to take it to the Mecum auto auction in Kissimmee. Florida last weekend but was unable to attend.      This is NOT an original Fuel Injected V8 car. but based on the quality of the restoration the only thing that would tell you it wasn't was the VIN number.

Unfortunately I have a couple of projects underway and this one is complete so I am not in a position to trade vehicles.   I am however looking for a complete Hemi motor (426. 472. 528. 572) for my 68 Charger project as a partial trade.
