Rare 1980 Porsche 928 Import

Up for sale today in our Redwood City showroom is this 1980 Porsche 928 two door coupe with fresh black paint and a matching black interior.   This desirable sports car was imported from Europe and it features a powerful 4. 5L V-8 engine under the hood with a 5-speed manual transmission.   It also comes nicely equipped for everyday driving and this sporty classic has a mere 91. 34 original miles showing on the odometer.

European Built w/ Only 91. 34 Original Miles

The current owner of this 1980 Porsche 928 had it imported from Europe with plans of fully restoring it.   Instead. he only managed to repaint the vehicle and get it in excellent mechanical condition before moving onto another project.   This beauty is still ready for the open road with a completely original interior and smooth. straight body lines.   It performs very nicely as well with excellent acceleration and handling. The car got a brand new timing belt and windshield before being put up for sale.

For those that don’t know the difference between the US and EU models. the odometer on this vehicle reads in kilometers per hour.   It also has European-style bumpers that collectors prefer. plus the engine produces about 20 more horsepower.   The other differences are purely cosmetic in the trim.

Fresh Paint and Mechanically Sound

Overall. this imported 1980 Porsche 928 is a highly desirable racer that’s in excellent driving condition with a whole lot of upside.   Given its rarity in the US market. the conservative asking price makes this an incredible value for someone seeking a great driver or a unique restoration opportunity.   For more information about this vehicle. visit our Redwood City. California showroom. give us a call. or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales. com.   Be sure to mention stock # 30862 as well.
