1979 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

This 1979 chevrolet corvette has just been freshly imported from the sunshine state of Florida.

The last owner had owned the car for 5 years in which time he lovingly did so much work on the car to make the car exactly how he wanted it.

The Chassis.    

 this has all been cleaned and painted. being a Florida car. (where it has lived all its life) . he chassis is rock solid and rust/rot free to start with. not a car from the northern salt states where some are sent to Florida to be sold .

suspension.

any thing that was not good was replaced. it has had all four brake rotors replaced along with all four brake calipers which i believe are SS sleeved along with all new brake pads. any bad lines were also done

Other work under the car.

The bad parking brake parts were all replaced and now works fine. the power steering control valve was rebuilt. in fact when this car goes for its MOT I see no issues at all. The exhaust has been replaced from a factory unit to a ansa type system which gives a superb exhaust note. but not to loud . The tyres are all brand new . ounted on polished alloy wheels and look stunning with perfect centre caps and all the same lug nuts. the rear spring rubbers are all brand new.

The Exterior

This is simply superb. gleaming Red paint work. all the emblems are there and correct. no sagging door handles. all four rear lights are brand new. nbsp; perfect body gaps all round and no sagging doors. the front lip spoiler is brand new. the front grills and lights are perfect with no cracks. both front and rear bumpers were replaced with the stronger fibre glass one before the car recieved its new paint job. so no worries about the originals dropping off. The headlights have just had new relays and front rod seals and work perfect.

The door seals are brand new as are the front and rear verticle seals as are the t top seals.

The Engine.

 This runs really strong and has just had  a tune up at " Lincolnshire Corvettes" who must be thanked for thier superb work. I believe the radiator is brand new. the engine has a little chrome dress up which can be seen in the photos. I do belive this is a "Matching numbers car " however you are welcome to check and confirm this yourself. the engine bay does look nice and original. unfortunately the A/C does not work

The interior.

Well what can I say ! lets face it when your out in your corvette this is where you are.  why buy a corvette wher no attention has been paid to the inside ? The carpets brand new !  the door panels brand new ! the door pull bezels brand new !  the rear compartments brand new!  rear speakers Brand new custom set up! the dash brand new! the small gauge bezel brand new ! the shift console brand new ! the seats brand new ! the seat backs have been reconditioned so no scratches. the steering wheel brand new wood style ! all the gauges work  INCLUDING THE CLOCK. !  there is a modern CD in the correct bezel NOT A BODGE JOB "CUT TO FIT" !

the rest. which I have maybe forgotten some. the car has a totally clear Florida title so no horror stories.  all duties and taxes have been paid and tha car is on NOVA and is sold with a full MOT 6 Months road tax and registered for the uk. I doubt for the price you will not find a better example there maybe cheaper but I have seen this so often when you buy cheap you buy twice. by this I mean you end up spending more money. then you have a corvette which owes you more than you can buy a done one for we have 30 years experience with corvettes and importing them.
