This is a well prepared car which in 2011 had a Swiftune engine upgrade to 'Sports Tourer EVO 11 spec. with a masive specification taking the engine power to 100bhp. She drives as you would expect with a very responsive throttle and an excellent sound
ENGINE:-. Swiftune in-house prepared block. acid dipped and steam cleaned. Fully thread checked and all faces cleaned. Offset bored and honed to produce 1380cc. centre main cap machined and main strap fitted. Top face of block skimmed to suit. New cam bearings. water pump. core plugs and oil bungs fitted. Re-ground and tuftrided crankshaft. ARP con-rod bolts. Omega forged 73. 5mm pistons. Steel 'Street' flywheel and feather light back plate with heavy duty clutch kit. straps and bolts. A Cooper S damper fitted to the crankshaft before the complete bottom end was dynamically balanced for ultra smoothness. New distributor and Lumenition electronic ignition. Road Rocket Level 3 cylinder head with Plasma hardened valves - 36mm inlet and 30mm exhaust with double valve springs. flow-rig developed with SW5-07 high lift kit which includes Billet camshaft. followers. high flow oil pump. alloy centred vernier and 1. 5 roller tip rockers and ARP head studs. New twin 1 1/2'' HS4 SU carburettors complete with inlet manifold. linkage and K&N filtersThe Gearbox is a fully re-conditioned AC Dodd box with a 3. 1 ratio differential and original KAD quickshift. Like all Swiftune engines the completed Sports Tourer Gold was run-in on the dyno meticulously tuned to deliver maximum power and torque. Total cost £4830 + vat.
SUSPENSION AND BRAKES:-MWS-13" x 7" Minilight style wheels  x 5. Dunlop 195 x 13 tyres. Negative camber all round. Adjustable tie bars. (All part of the Minispares Mighty Mini Racing Kit). Minispares offset bushes in bottom arms. AVO fully adjustable gas dampers. P & L fully adjustable coils.
BODY:-All original except 'A' panels and door skins. Re-painted by Altered Image Coachworks in original colours. Sportpack genuine arches. Genuine ERA bonnet bulge. Opening rear quarter lights. Frenched rear lights (all steel). Professionally re-built full length sunroof.
INTERIOR:-Full 2 tone electric leather interior. Colour coded dashboard with new white dials. Springalex steering wheel. Red seat belts.
