1958 Cadillac Series 62 2 Door Coupe Red And White!!!

  Hey guys I am helping a good friend of mine sell off a few toys and the 58 caddy is first on the list! He inherited this car about 5 years ago and has been bringing her back to glory year by year. He now feels he has brought it as far as he would like to go. so its time for a new owner to finish up the odds and ends.

What the car needs but not right away-  tires. exhaust (eventually). lower door panels to be made and upholstered (have extra door panels to use for pattern). needs spring on the trunk lock hence why trunk lock is out of the car in the picture. also will need new crests on the emblems.

Paint was redone about 6 years ago and could use a buff to make it super shiny again. He recently within the past 5 months rechromed both the front and rear bumpers which as many of us car guys know is a costly process and time consuming. It has a brand new gas tank. fuel pump. and sending unit.   Master cylinder power booster has been professionally rebuilt(was sent to California to be done) and new brakes all around- including but not limited to the brake shoes. wheel cylinders. and rubber hoses. Tune up was also performed which included the spark plugs. ignition wires and cap and rotor. The points were also replaced at that time. The filters were replaced (fuel filter. air filter).

The car has an aftermarket edelbrock carburetor. The radiator is also new along with the hoses and coolant within the past couple of years. New spring coils were installed in the rear as well as the shock absorbers. Seats were re-upholstered years ago and are in nice shape needing some minor cleaning.

The power windows all work. however the power seat needs the motor to be rebuilt. Wipers need a little tinkering to work properly but work intermittently. Headlights and tail lights work properly. The gold hood "V" is new and looks great. Trunk and floors are solid which on a car this age as we know is hard to find and very important. Please note this car is driver quality but still needs TLC. His loss is your gain. finish this beauty and get her to the car show or cruise her with the windows down to the beach!

The car is sold with a clear NJ title-note the miles on the title are about 1. 00 miles off from dash as when he registered it he guessed but miles are actual to vehicle.     A few have asked about the mileage. The mileage on the car is 93. 32 as shown on dash. The mileage on the title is 94. 25. As I stated my friend did not write down the miles before going to motor vehicle and "guestimated" the correct miles. Also he said when you drive the car the speedometer sometimes junps around. due to a stretched speedo cable. He will be including a replacement with the sale of the vehicle. Thank you. Schoolboy

 I also want to mention the car comes with the jack and spare tire. also two brand new sill plates for the floor to hold the carpet down. The mirror is off in the picture because it connects to the door panel. and being the door panel is needed to be completed-it was left off of the car.
