1968 Chevelle /Malibu 396

Hello. here I have a very nasty and reliable. 1968. Chevelle /Malibu 396. First of all this car is rock solid.

 The interior is in good shape. Leather bucket seats. it has a 4 point role bar. original steering wheel. after market gauges. tack. water temp. oil pressure. All the windows are there with no cracks and they all work. A brand new windshield has been installed. Lights. wipers. blinkers. all work!!

 The suspension is in great shape!! It has a after market 6 point rear suspension. rides great!! The front is all original. it has front discs and rear drum brakes. She drives and stops perfectly straight!! The frame and trunk is rock solid!! No issues of rust under the car!! 

The motor is the pride and joy!! The original 396 was removed and replace with a 496 BBC. complete roller engine. Example motor look on Ebay and pull up Chevrolet 496 and  it is the same. The list price is over 8. 00. 00  just for the engine!!  The carb. Is a demon. two inch ceramic coated headers with number 3 inch low flowmaster exhaust with  cross over tube. MSD ignition. aluminum radiator with electric fan. power steering. she is a very strong car. but she also cruises very nice. The power band for the car is about 3500 RPM.

 The transmission is TH 400. the rear end is a 12 bolt 373 Moser Posi  and strange axles. Perfect for this car. The trunk has a fuel cell in trunk. This is not a car for a high school student. It needs to go to a responsible adult. that will respect the power!! Estimated horse power 650+ very healthy!!

It's a great car overall . and it will just about blow away anything on the street.

The car was painted about one year ago.   The car was never buffed after paint job.

So it will need to be buffed out. even thought it looks great.
