Up for Auction is my 1959 Chrysler Saratoga 2 door hotrod.   She packs a 383 v8 engine with 63000 original miles and a push button automatic transmission.   As you ease yourself into the cockpit. she will quickly take you back to a time long forgotten.  You will close the door and start the car. shifting power from neutral to drive with a push of a button.   She gracefully rolls all 18 foot of of her beauty onto the beaten path.   As she floats down the road like the Queen Anne crossing the Atlantic you will quickly leave your troubles behind.     I purchased this car a little more than 2 years ago with the intention of taking this restoration and one of a kind vehicle to the next level.   I actually purchased this car with 62K + miles on her. sitting the way you see it listed.   With a daughter starting college in the fall. nbsp;I  just don't have the time or money to spend on her.    With that being said. nbsp; this 1959 Saratoga has had some modifications made to the roof line as well as the sides.    She is not in perfect shape. and if you are looking for something that is in perfect shape. then this is not the ride for you.    There are a few scratches and or blemishes.    I have included pictures of the scratches. as well as multiple shots of this beauty from all angles.   The interior seats are not original and I had planed on replacing them back to the original seats but never got around to that either.   There is a small oil leak coming from the oil pan as far as I can tell.   The breaks work good. however. the do not stop on a dime as if it was a 2013 sports coupe.   ---- As you slide yourself into the command center of this fine vehicle. you will find yourself sitting behind an instrument panel that would have given the starship enterprise a run for its money.   The original AM radio still plays a tune. nbsp;however.  there is a full am/fm cd unit hidden in the back of the vehicle eagerly awaiting its opportunity to sound off once the ol'hag finally belts out her last note!   This beauty turns a many of heads. nbsp;receiving many "thumbs up". hollers and gestures of "nice car dude"!!    ----   Just like any fine dame from a time long ago. nbsp; she demands respect.   She is looking for a good time on a Saturday night.   If you treat this this lady like she demands. appreciating her grace. and the fine curves she has to offer. nbsp;then you will surly enjoy the gracious slow and low loving movement that she will return time in and time out.
