VIDEO PRESENTATION BELOW
When you think about a Bronco. you picture yourself either on the coast cruising around. or perhaps locally around town doing lunch at your favorite cafe. or 4 wheeling on the trails. This truck could go in any one of those directions. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to bring this amazing truck to you.
Showcasing a brilliant Rangoon Red paint on the body and a contrasting white top. it draws attention anywhere it goes. This is the original color and the very first repaint the truck has ever received.
This Bronco is very close to all original. Purchased by it's original owner in Colorado. it was purchased from her around 1996 by Melissa. the owner of the Bronco Hut for her personal use. It had 62. 00 miles on the odometer at that time. She drove the truck for a few years and then it just sat at their shop until they decided to sell it. She and her husband did the restoration for a customer of theirs.
The Bronco Hut in Castle Rock. Co. does amazing work. Melissa and her husband made the few major changes you will see through out the ad. The VIN# shows this to be a U15 truck which is the long cab. The first major change was to give it the 1/2 cab. That was the personal preference of the builder.
Another non original addition is the custom interior cab tubular steel frame. This was personally designed by Melissa's husband. It gives some some support to the top. but is not an actual roll cage. It was designed mainly to support shoulder harnesses.
Moving along to the interior. there is space for up to three people. but fitting two comfortably. The interior colors blend well together. This is where another change was made. The truck came from the factory with bucket seats. It was decided at the time of the redo. to go with an actual Bronco bench seat. The custom upholstery and addition of the head rests is a $1500. addition in itself.
The attention to detail is obvious in this restoration.
The dashboard displays all of its original gauges. They are all working and there are two gas gauges. one for each of the 2 gas tanks this truck comes with.
The speedometer displays original miles. The radio is working and all of the rest of the components as well. There is no A/C. just heat.
There are correct floor mats.
The truck's bed is covered with carpet just to protect against scratching. This can be removed to reveal the completely repainted bed.
The performance of this 1972 Bronco is awesome. vintage Broncos have proven to be excellent investments and are gaining value as the supply is limited. Don't miss the opportunity to check this one out.
The custom 2 1/2" lift kit consists of actually 31/2" front springs and 2 1/2" rear springs. This gives it the proper stance.
We want to thank our friends at the Frontiers Of Flight Museum for their great background seen in many of our photos. Please stop in and visit the museum when you find yourself in Dallas.
Under the hood there is the original 302 V8 motor that produces a good amount of horsepower. a manual transmission connects to the engine. This vintage Bronco is equipped with factory power steering. Melissa and her husband added the new front disk brake kit.
The engine compartment was left original to show what great condition it was in. It was just detailed. and not rebuilt. The rear end is the original Ford 9".
The front end is a Dana 44.
