The Junior was Panhard's entry into the postwar sports car market. Using the two cylinder. horizontally opposed. aircooled engine of the Dyna. the attractive roadster was introduced in 1952. The sporty styling was a great image builder for the company but was not a huge commercial success with just over 4. 00 examples built between 1952 and 1956.  With such low production over sixty years ago. they are very rare today and almost non-existent in the United States.

This rust free example was a very successful vintage race car in the eighties and nineties. It has an SVRA logbook going back to the early eighties. It is equipped with a fire suppression system. fuel cell. adjustable suspension. dual Brooklands windscreens. Dunlop L race tires and Recaro seat. Over the years. The body has not been flared or otherwise modified.

I just reviewed this listing and saw that. somehow. a good portion of my description never made it (hence the last crazy sentence fragment). I'll try to recreate the paragraphs below:

I purchased this car seventeen years ago; two years after its last race. Despite my best intentions. I have not had the opportunity to race it or recommission it for service. It has been stored properly but it has not been started or operated in that time. The engine turns fine and the brakes are functional so preparing it to be back on the track or street should be straightforward.

Personal or professional inspection of the car prior to bidding is welcomed and encouraged. Feel free to ask any questions and/or request any specific photos. The winning bidder will submit a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment will be due in seven days. I can store the car inside for an additional thirty days at no extra cost. As with any vehicle of this age and type. it is being sold as-is. Thank you for your interest in this very cool and historic car. Have fun bidding and good luck!
