The Ultimate Farm Truck

This 1949 Chevy 3600 is a unique piece of Chevy history. This 1949 is a 2 owner truck and sent most of is life in North Dakota as a rust free truck. Then in recent years this truck was "restored". The body of the truck was blasted and primed and a the vintage style flat paint was used to give it that classic look. The 216 Stovebolt engine of this beautiful 3600 was fully rebuilt with all new parts and the transmission was resealed and had a new oem heavy duty clutch was installed. The front suspension and kingpins were all replaced to make this truck a very smooth riding and driving truck. The electrical system is still the factory 6v.

This truck is a true classic and has that classic styling that will attract thumbs up at every stop light. It runs and drives great and like the day it was new in 1949! This 3600 is a unique truck because it is the 3/4 ton truck and has the 4 on the floor with the low tranny gear transmission instead of the 3 on the tree that comes on the 3100 series truck. It also has a much larger rearend and larger spring pack to handle the larger payloads.

The two tone paint on this 3600 really shows off the classic body lines that has made it an icon in classic trucks and accents the classic body lines. This truck could be driven every day and is a true show stopper or with very little work this truck could be turned into a real show stopper.
