1978 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Short Bed Pickup Truck

Five years. well over $30. 00 dollars invested. thousands of man hours. blood. sweat. tears. mind numbing cold and a determination to achieve excellence in the memory of a life long friend that passed away.

If I had the money. I'd do [insert here all the great things you would do] to my truck. At one point in our lives. probably most of us have said that about at least one car or truck we've owned. Up for sale is my vision of a Chevrolet truck that was built with those inspring words.

The journey begins on Christmas day. 2008. I bought this 1978 Chevrolet truck from Vintage Autohaus in Amarillo. Texas for the restoration project a few weeks earlier. After the grandkids opened presents and the family feast. we began disassembly of the truck. cataloging every nut and bolt into zip lock bags and lots of pictures.

The truck was disassembled all the way down to the frame over the next few months. Every last nut and bolt were removed. The frame was sandblasted and from there. we began the long process of building this stunning truck. No corners were cut. no expense spared.

This truck was highly documented on the 67-72chevytrucks. com website. Take a look at some of the comments. from the guys that *really* know these trucks:

"Beautiful truck!! honored to say I was a small part of the project!" "An Awesome Truck. an Awesome Accomplishment; thanks for sharing this moment with us all. " "Stunning!!" "Hands down. Truck of the Year. " "One of my favorite square body builds. the best part is that it's completely driveway built. cheers! " "I wish I didn't spend 10 k on my truck so far.
