This Mach 1 has just completed a 2 year full restoration back to original condition. This car was built on April 25th. 1969 at
the San Jose. California Ford Assembly Plant and delivered to Twin Lake Motors in Mountain Home. Arkansas. The following
restoration has been completed on the car:
Gorgeous Candy Apple Red base coat clear coat paint job that has been color sanded and buffed to a smooth glass finish.
No paint chips or damage anywhere. Stays inside and is always covered.
Completely rebuilt 428CJ top end back to factory specs. The block is a 428 PI block from 1966. All CobraJet internals
were used during the rebuild. Stock/correct heads. intake and exhaust manifolds. Completely detailed engine compartment.
No oil or exhaust leaks. New fuel pump. rebuilt Holley carb. alternator etc. Everything is brand new and has approximately
200 miles on the drivetain. Fires right up and idles nice and has great power. I had a lot of help from a retired Ford
mechanic with this part of the restoration. It runs like it should!
Rebuilt C6 transmission
9inch rear had already been rebuilt when I purchase the car
Completely rebuilt steering with new steering gearbox and all new power steering components from Chockostang.
Nice and tight and drive perfect.
All brand new suspension. rides great. no squeaks. rattles or wandering.
Brand new power disc brake system just like the factory. All new lines. booster. master cylinder. rotors. calipers. etc.
New rear brakes as well. stops perfect. No aftermarket kits. correct Ford parts with all correct fasteners etc.
New exhaust system
New 15" Magnum 500 wheels with BFG Radial T/A tires. 225 in front and 245 in rear.
Every piece of chrome was replaced and all trim polished. There is no rust on the car at all. New floors and all underside
is clean and painted black.
All new correct Mach 1 deluxe interior. everything was replaced.
I built this car for the intention of driving it to local cruise-ins and shows and enjoying this car. However. it is nicer than just
a driver class car. I would describe it as a concourse driven car.
I really considered adding the rear slats/louvers and the rear spoiler to the car. However. it didn't come from the factory
that way and I wanted to keep it stock. I do think it would add to the appearance though. The MUSTANG trunk letters
have been installed since these pictures were taken. Pictures were taken a few weeks ago.
69 Mach 1s are greats cars to drive and make a great investment. You can't build this car to the condition it is in for less than
what I'm willing to sell it for.
Anyone can come and view the car in person before making an offer.
The car is located in Danville. VA 24541.
