SELLER REMARKS

At a glance. this 1967 Chevrolet Nova 2-door looks simple and unassuming. which is a big part of the car's appeal. But upon closer inspection. you find that there's a great deal of effort involved in making it look this easy. and with an upgraded suspension and a sweet-running 350 under the hood. this is a car that's easy to underestimate and impossible to forget.


The color's close enough to Marina Blue to give this Nova an authentic look. and nobody will argue that the crisply folded sheetmetal doesn't look great with the classic color on top. Like their bigger siblings. these cars are more intricately designed than you notice at first glance-just look at the subtle kick-up behind the doors. the formal-looking roof line. and the raised molding that runs from nose to tail. all of which make the Nova a delight to examine up close. A darker blue pinstripe highlights the fender line and they obviously gave it a thorough buff once the paint was dry. because it shines up beautifully. It's nice to see that it's all stock. too. so not only does it look great. but it keeps a low profile that's ideally suited to this potent little Q-ship's mission. Plenty of shiny chrome certainly helps. and there's a very intricate insert on the deck lid that belies this car's humble price point.


The bright blue interior is all new. and for the most part. they kept it pretty stock. That's a factory bench seat with a correct cloth and vinyl seat cover and the back seat was upholstered to match. In fact. everything was done in the original style thanks to quality reproductions being available today. Door panels. carpets. and the headliner are all highly accurate and in excellent condition. The wood-rimmed steering wheel is not original but has an OEM look and a bowtie horn button. so it looks right. The original gauges are in good condition. and both a column-mounted tachometer and auxiliary gauges cleverly integrated into the lower dash keep an eye on the warmed-over small block. That's a Vintage Air A/C system under the dash. painted to match the rest of the interior and looking right at home. The aftermarket shifter is perhaps the most obvious modification. but it definitely helps when you're running hard. Even the trunk is very nicely finished with a full-sized spare and a relocated battery in a color-matched box.


The engine is a great-running 350 cubic inch V8 which was dressed to look OEM. From the Chevy Orange paint to the decal on top of the chrome air cleaner. it has a stock look that always draws a crowd. A few chrome dress-up parts add interest to the satin black engine bay. and you get the impression that everything was very carefully done and nothing is here that wasn't explicitly intended to be. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic twisting a 10-bolt rear with 3. 33 gears inside. so it's an easy cruiser. The front suspension was upgraded to a Heidt's setup with A-arms and rack-and-pinion steering and the exhaust is all new with Flowmaster mufflers and chrome tips. Period Torque Thrust wheels with 205/75/15 blackwalls help reinforce the low-key look.


Always a wolf in sheep's clothing. the beauty of this Nova is perhaps most apparent from behind the wheel. Lots of fun with a low-profile look. Call today!

TERMS OF SALE  

1. Per the eBay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.   This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
