It has always been my child hood dream to own one of these lovely creations. the 911 Porsche. after looking for several years for the right example i stumbled across this glorious 911. i found it purely by chance from a tip off from a friend in California and just had to own it. well its not every day you come across a genuine 2 previous owner car with a huge history file. the lady I purchased the car from owned this Porsche for 34 years prior to me purchasing it in January last year. she used it as a daily driver car up until 2004 and no expense was spared keeping it in good health and on the road. this 911 has an impeccable service history. over 60. 00 dollars worth of invoices in fact. i have all the invoices to substantiate my claim. invoices show the car has had 2 engine rebuilds within its lifetime. the last one completed around 5k miles ago.

I have gradually been improving my pride and joy over the past year in order to get it to roadworthy standards. only working on it the odd weekend i must add. it is now UK registered with V5 in my name and has road tax and MOT however in my mind the car would benefit from some further improvement. it is Not a gleaming concours example that you could eat your dinner off but more of a genuine solid survivor with a lovely patina throughout. It attracts a lot of attention on its outings. It always attract a crowd whenever I take it out . (only in the dry)

Its a spectacular looking car. a genuine time wharp. it would benefit from some minor improvements to bring it up to scratch.

what does it need. well for a start it could do with a good service and the engine set up properly. there is a knock coming from the front suspension. I suspect a ball joint is on the way out. rear shocks could also do with replacement as they feel a bit spongy and soggy. the paint is very presentable but is not the original colour. originally the car was copper bronze metallic however I think the car looks a lot nicer with its shiny black paintwork in my opinion. car was repainted just before being laid up in 2004. span > the paint is generally very good but shows signs of micro blistering. you can only spot this if you get up really close. from a metre away it is undetectable and car looks stunning. the panel fits are just simply perfect. the car is mirror straight down both sides. on closer inspection and believe me i have scrutinised this vehicle inside out and i can honestly say it has Never been involved in any accidents. there is No rust anywhere on the body. NO rust bubbles and NO filler and NO signs of any previous welding. floorpan is truly superb. The engine runs well but could do with a good service and setting up properly as previously mentioned. brakes pull up sharp and in a straight line. clutch operates nicely with no slip. 5 speed 915  gearbox fitted. original fuch's alloys set the car off nicely. they have been polished and are shod with 4 good Michelin tyres. Interior is good but carpets show signs of their age. 1 crack across dash top which could be repaired easily enough. front seats are out of a later 911. I only fitted these as a temporary fix as original seats need new covers. original seats are also included in the sale. I also have the original leather steering wheel and a few other assorted spares. all will be sold with the car.

I could go on all day listing all the good points this car has to offer. if you genuinely want to own this Porsche then please get bidding. I will only consider selling it once reserve price is met. I have been following the prices of similar specimens over the past few months here on eBay and have seen the same cars spring up time after time. probably because they are either overpriced or dogs. this example is genuine. it is my own car and registered in my name. this is a very regretful sale and only selling due to needing the cash for a new business venture.

Now the boring bit. this is a bid to buy auction. hob nail boot tyre kickers are not welcome however genuine purchasers are. if you wish to view the car which i highly recommend or have any further questions I can be contacted on 07973 134872.

A small deposit will be required from the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction ending.

Car to be collected and paid for in full within 10 days.

International bidders welcome but please contact me first before bidding.

Thanks for looking.
