Nearly every luxury or optional item available was offered with Oldsmobile's Ninety-Eight. Standard options included power steering. power brakes. the 6-way power adjustable seat. power windows. Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission. dash clock. windshield washers. padded dash. and courtesy and map light. This example displays an older re-finish in red & white along with the extremely rare J2 triple carburetor option. It is estimated that 2000 to 2500 Oldsmobiles produced carried this 2-year only option in 1957-58.

This classic Oldsmobile "Flagship" 98 was photographed at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum. located only minutes from our showroom.

This Olds 98 is a true Rocket!

Power is courtesy of the Golden Rocket 371 cubic inch V8. rated at 312 horsepower with the "J2" triple Rochester carburetor option. This example also features latter air conditioning along with power steering. The engine compartment displays the correct carburetors and breather along with the original sheet metal throughout the firewall. inner fenders. and core support.

Yes. for an extra $83. 00. your 1957 Oldsmobile engine was massaged to 10. 00:1 compression & 415 ft-lbs of toque thanks to thinner head gaskets and triple Rochester Carburetors on a progressive linkage.  Power levels rose to 312 brake horsepower. Oldsmobile's multi-carburetor option would be available for two short years. briefly re-appearing in '66 before it was gone for good. This vintage powerhouse has also been fitted with modern air conditioning. This Golden Rocket V8 was a leader in performance. Oldsmobile secured many NASCAR victories during this time period.

The engine retains its unique linkage. breather. and Rochster carburetors.

Open the door to the 1950s.

The interior features classic white vinyl seating along with vintage brightwork throughout. A later Kenwood cassette stereo is fitted in the dash and easily changed.
