1980 FORD ESCORT RS CUSTOM WHITE/BLUE UNFINISHED PROJECT

Hi. sadly for sale due to other commitments.  Ive been working on this on and off between other work for ages now. and unfortunately time is against me.  I need the space that this is occupying. I will list whats been done and whats included with the rolling shell. If you are reading this you will know that its not a weekend job to put these together although most of the hard work has been done. I will post a few pictures tomorrow. but if anyone wants any detailed pics of any of the bits of the car or the parts that come with it just let me know. Right. the car has been stripped to a bare shell and has been strengthened and gusseted. and skid plates on the rear spring hangers. The floor. inner and outer sills and wheel wells have all been repaired. The inner wings are solid and it had new drip rail fitted with the front wing. The car has a fibreglass front spoiler. and forest arches fitted. The shell is in primer with the exception of the rear nearside quarter which requires some filling and finishing. All of the major welding has been done and its pretty tidy. This will never ever be a concourse car but would make a nice toy or runaround when done. The shell has the rear axle temporarily fitted and comes with the remainder of the polybush set used on the car. Front end has world cup x member. new track control arms. rack and rack ends. Also running on modded capri struts with coilovers. various wheels on the car at the moment some good minilite some steels.  The car is on the V5 as an RS Custom. but was used as a vintage rally car for several years before I bought it. Like many old escorts whether or not it is I cant honestly say. The car has a flat front with cutouts for the alloy radiator. (included) and has both a steel bonnet and bootlid and a fibreglass bonnet and bootlid. anyhow I will list the parts that are going with the car which are numerous. Lots of the older parts have been cleaned but will require painting/ powdercoating. There are no seats interior or carpet. but alloy door cards and firewall are included. Some parts of the shell have light surface rust from storage as per usual.
FIBREGLASS BONNET AND BOOTLID. FULL SET OF BRAND NEW GLASS. SET OF ORIGINAL GLASS WITH PERSPEX SIDE WINDOWS. FULL BOLT IN ROLL CAGE. BRAND NEW ALLOY TANK WITH FILLER WHICH HAS HAD THE PLATFORM ALREADY WELDED IN. STRUT BRACE. AN ASSORTMENT OF MINILITE STYLE WHEELS. SOME GOOD. OTHERS MARKED. SPARE FRONT CAPRI COILOVERS. TWO TYPE 9 GEARBOXES. SPARE CAPRI REAR AXLE. CORSA POWER STEERING COLUMN AND ECU. COMPLETE WITH MODIFIED CONTROLLER FOR SENSITIVITY. PROP SHAFT. ANTI ROLL BARS. RETRO FORD ZETEC ENGINE KIT INCLUDING A WATER RAIL. ALTERNATOR BRACKETS. ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKETS. UMP AND PICKUP FOR RWD ZETEC APPLICATIONS. I AM ALSO INCLUDING WITH THE SALE A RETRO FORD BDA CAST ALLOY CAMCOVER FOR ZETEC ENGINE. THE 1. 8 FLYWHEEL DRILLED AND BALANCED FOR TYPE 9 BOX. I ALSO HAVE A BOGG BROTHERS INLET MANIFOLD WITH BIKE CARBS ALREADY FETTLED FOR A 2. 0 ZETEC. AND A FULL ASHLEY EXHAUST SYSTEM AND MANIFOLD FOR THE ZETEC. NEW UNUSED FRONT WING AND A COUPLE OF FIBREGLASS ARCHES.  
There are a few boxes of original parts removed from the car including mirrors lights wiring harness etc etc. There are also a couple of sets of clocks. new lenses. etc etc . A van and trailer load anyway. There are no doubt parts that I have missed but I will collect everything together and have it ready to load into the car. with the exception of the glass. I know the value of all of the parts obviously. and the value of the rolling shell and paperwork. and also the value of the car completed so wont entertain any offers which are too far below the specified classified price.  I wont be doing any viewings unless by prior arrangement and the agreement of the rottweilers. any pictures you need as I said just ask. I hope this finds a good home and someone with the ability to finish off what could be a lovely car. I'm not interested in separating any of this at all and would like it sold as a complete package.  Someone will be getting a genuine bargain anyway. dont be afraid to ask any questions. I dont bite.
