1982 FORD CAPRI INJECTION BLACK

just restored 1982 4 speed capri 2. 8 injection in the best colour gloss black I purchased the car back in feb 2012 from a gentleman in somerset it has been stored in a few barns since 1990 so 22 years in storage I was told that it was reshelled privately by a previous owner back in the earyl 80s with a new shell from ford and explains why there is no chassis number stamped on the plate on the floor the body shop that painted the car inspected the area around the plate and could not find any sign of tampering hpi checks come back clear . condition wise the car is in great shape with just a few minor things to sort out the exhaust needs adjusting as it bumps on the body blower fan speedo cable I dident replace the body mouldings down the side as I prefer the clean look like the 2. 0s models also it could do with a good krypton tune and a radio cd ect needs fitting that's about it parts I replaced new bonnet / engine same year and miles great oil pressure and very quiet / full engine service parts oil and filters leads dizzy cap rotor arm ect / fuel pump/ fuel filter / meter head / recon radiator / water pump / thermostat / rad cap / expansion bottle cap / driver side strut top plate new front calipers and pads / braded brake hoses all round / fluid and various brake lines / rear shoes and cyliders / new front and rear bumpers end caps and over riders / full sportex exhaust with tube manifolds with 3inch exits sounds awesome / door rubbers / boot rubers / door weather strips clips ect / the car had a full respray 6mths ago small amount of welding to the front floor pans the wings are original with NO rust anywhere on them the only panel I had to replace was the bonnet with a brand new pattern part the a posts are rust free floors boot ect the allys are in good order with good tred on all 4 tyres the alloy in the boot is the original wheel and tyre that came with the car and has never been fitted or used still has the sticker and new nuts with it the interior is in good condition a little worn but she is just turned 32 years old bless I fitted a electric fan as with any capri they don't like sitting in traffic the car is taxed till end of December 2013 and has mot till 30th june 2014 so ready to drive away. in all this is a fantastic usable classic car with the desirable 4 speed box rust free super shine black gloss with only a few minor jobs to finish will add better picks when the sun comes out to show the real shine on the body please come have a look first car is in Swansea south wales
