He had stripped the old paint off and changed the color to the new orange paint. He put new brake calipers and went through the brake system. He went through the mechanical to make it a daily driver. His paint job is not a number one, but shows good from 20 feet. The car rides and drives as the video shows. I have been using it this summer as a daily driver driving to my house and back to town around 30 miles. It has a small vacuum leak that makes the headlights go up and down slowly. The T tops fit like they should. The rear window removes like it should. The wipers are there but the switch didnt work, there is a vacuum leak that makes the door open when you drive it. The original 454 v8 runs strong, does not overheat, and shifts all gears like it should. The speedo and gauges and lights all work except for the oil pressure gauge. This car is a NUMBERS MATCHING 454 v8 with factory 4 speed and leather.Very rare car. While this is not a number 1 restored car, it is a good candidate to restore to a number one as everything is here. The original interior is very usable showing some wear. Best to watch the video as I took 70 plus pics and video under and around it etc. The frame and underside is solid and unmolested and original. it is missing the spare.
