1970 Bronco 2 Door Hardtop Convertible, 13,987 original miles, beautiful

Sale price: $13,000.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: Everything in this truck works properly as it should. This car is unrestored and regularly (very lightly) driven. I have kept this vehicle 98% original in stock factory form just as it left the lot in 1970. The three exceptions are the bed liner coating, electronic ignition, and Sony stereo & speakers. All are easily reversible without damaging or altering the car should you want a 100% original Bronco. The original radio is included, as is the original tire mount. This vehicle is one of the rare rust-free examples. You don't see this often. The metal is in great shape. It has been stored indoors for each and every one of it's 43 years. You can see from the pictures that this car is in amazingly good condition for a vehicle that has been driven continuously all that time. Note, it's not a slick, polished, pristine show car. It has some scuffs, bumps and "beauty marks" inside and out. The paint is not car show perfect but looks pretty good to me for a 1970.

History: You may be asking yourself "how the heck can a 1970 Bronco have only 13. 87 original miles on it? (I sure was). I am the third owner. The first owner was an attorney who owned 5 vehicles. one of which he used exclusively to tow his boat a half a mile to the docks and half a mile back home again. This is that vehicle. He bought the bronco in 1970 expressly for this purpose. and retired it from duty more than forty years later in late 2010. Forty years of one-mile round trips every month or so equalled less than 8500 miles at that point. It was then sold to the gentleman I bought it from three months before he found out he was to be a father. With the good news came an end to his dreams of bronco ownership. and it found it's way into my hands. I bought the vehicle at 9500 miles and have put 4500 miles on the car. I have put quite a bit of money into the vehicle. and have kept modifications to an absolute minimum. The engine has never been rebuilt. the transmission is the same one that left the lot in 1970. I have updated all wear items so it is a 100% reliable daily driver. This is not an old car that you "expect" to break down. or that you "worry" about driving long distances. In fact. I drove this vehicle from San francisco to San Diego and back with zero problems or issues whatsoever. It was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. This is an incredible vehicle. and I hope to find the right owner who will treasure it as much as I have.

About Heifer International: Heifer International's mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the Earth.

Dan West was a farmer from the American Midwest and member of the Church of the Brethren who went to the front lines of the Spanish Civil War as an aid worker. His mission was to provide relief. but he soon discovered the meager single cup of milk rationed to the weary soldiers once a day was not enough.

And then he had a thought: What if they had not a cup. but a cow?

That "teach a man to fish" philosophy is what drove West to found Heifer International. And now. nearly 70 years later. that philosophy still inspires their work to end hunger and poverty throughout the world once and for all. HOW IT WORKS:

Heifer International empowers families to turn hunger and poverty into hope and prosperity – but their approach is more than just giving them a handout. Heifer links communities and helps brings sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty. Their animals provide partners with both food and reliable income. as agricultural products such as milk. eggs and honey can be traded or sold at market.

When many families gain this new sustainable income. it brings new opportunities for building schools. creating agricultural cooperatives. forming community savings and funding small businesses.
