Up for sale here is my classic aircooled and backdated Porsche 911. Based off a 1978 3.0 911 Super Carrera. Rare Coupe that's Tax and MOT exempt in the UK with documentation to reflect this from the DVLA.

New callipers and vented discs fitted all round. The car is what I would call a purist spec as it's a non-sunroof coupe with manual windows. The car is fitted with a new interior consisting of custom made cobra RSR bucket seats finished in leather and basketweave, these beautifully compliment the new yet period correct MOMO prototipo steering wheel which adds a touch of class to the interior. Again period correct RS door cards are included so can be customised as you wish and radio deleted to really make you feel like you're in a 1974 racing 911. The engine was rebuilt in 2014 by an enthusiast who builds and maintains Porsche cup cars with receipts from Porsche for the parts used. The engine has covered maybe 1000 miles since rebuild, it was part of a collection. This 911 has been put on a diet to increase its driver focussed characteristics. Around 100kg has been removed from the car with the interior stripped back, lighter door cards, rear seat delete, aircon has been deleted and the front end backdated with FRP 1974 2.7 RS panels and genuine lighting instruments are included all to improve its appearance and shed weight. The ducktail comes with the car along with many other parts or spares  We can fit the ducktail if required. Power has been increased by removing the heavily restrictive heat exchangers with RSR Manifolds and back box fitted with noticeable gains felt when out on the road. The car is making around 200-210bhp with around 1000-1050kg kerb weight. The 915 gearbox performs well and has had new coupler bearings as part of its major service and recommissioning as a fast road car. A beechwood gear lever to match the MOMO wheel has been fitted as part of the heritage collection, this feels much more natural to hand when changing gear and adds a nice weight to the shift. The 911 is originally from California hence very dry underneath and doesn't look to have been an all season car since it's arrival in the UK I'm very confident it's been passed between two collectors before I acquired it. It's potentially an ideal export with it being LHD with better pedal placement making it useable around the globe, I can prepare the car for shipping if required. I've chosen not to paint the car since it was backdated as I know many of these cars are appreciating in value and someone may wish to keep it long term and perhaps colour change it to their taste. I've spent a lot of money going through the car to make it a nice driver and usable classic as I believe they should be driven. The correct 7 and 8” 15” forged fuchs wheels are genuine. The original seats and door cards are included should you wish to have a more comfortable seat for road trips, I also have the original flag mirrors should you not fancy the 964 mirrors fitted. I took the inspiration for this car from Magnus Walker's no 277 car, hence the meaty tyres, RSR exhaust, staggered fuchs, a lower stance and the stripped back interior plus the 964 mirrors. If you wanted to wrap it you could perhaps have a tribute car potentially. The car comes with the original G-series wings fitted, however I have two correct F model wings with the lower brackets for the indicators should you wish to go for the one piece wings when painting the car. This is handy should you wish to revert back to standard later down the line. All of this is reversible as I've not welded the front panel in place, I've kept a short-frame long-nose bonnet which uses original latches for this reason I also have a spare bonnet in FRP to match the F model wings. Car has only been used when dry by myself and is kept in a secure garage when not in use and on trickle charge, a new battery has also been fitted. I've a massive stack of paperwork with the car spanning many decades and it's original owners manual, although this is a little tatty, it also comes with 3 keys and is ready to drive away to enjoy for the summer. I've tried to price it fairly as it's a nice car for someone to finish off with paint or a wrap. Happy to consider part ex for other 911's, M3's Audi Rs models R8's can part ex up and down , try me. My number is on the listing, feel free to WhatsApp me.
