Will be 30 years of the series 1 RS Turbo next year.

123600 Miles Registered  30-08-85

Mot until March 2014 (600 miles since last MOT)

Looking at the MOTS its done 2500miles  since 2010

Tax to end of January.

7 previous owners before me.

I purchased the car in March 2013 and since then has had a new organic clutch (£259 from Burton Power) Oil change and new cambelt.

Only selling as I no longer have a company car and cannot justify running a second car that sits in the garage most of the time.

I had a full HPI check on purchase.

Previous owner had it for 13 years. in that time he restored it and upgraded the engine with full photographic records. Shows all the suspension components repainted etc.

Won 3rd in class at Ford fair in 2004.

All work was completed around 2003/4 so is now showing a few signs of wear and tear. which in my opinion makes it a nice usuable car thats had all its niggles ironed out previously.

Extensive history during his ownership. unfortunately not much from before 2000.

Receipts total over £11. 00 in 13 years.

Engine work completed in 2003/4 and 20. 00 miles ago.

spec as follows. taken from the history file: -

1. 9 litre specialised engines low compression bottom end. Fully lightened and balanced. £2100

Cylinder head developments. fully polished and ported head with kent cam and 3 angled valve seats. To quote “To full race spec” £790

Stage 3 hybrid turbo £418

Pace radiator £274

High flow intercooler. £422

Bailey breather system and header tank.

PTS super chip.

Tuned to 198 BHP on low boost.

Fiesta RS turbo fuel injection. (More reliable)

Stainless steel engine bay dress kit.

Stainless steel magnex exhaust. (Not too over the top)

Brand new quality clutch (The previous owner wasn't aware it was slipping once on boost. so shows how gently he drove it)

Spax suspension £446

Rebuilt gearbox in 2004 £180

283mm “Big disc” conversion… discs. calipers and pads  £238

Clifford alarm £500

Plus lots more.

Original floors with the stamped VIN number.

Battery tray is perfect.

Refurbished wheels. with what I am told a brand new 7 spoke alloy for the spare.

Stereo with “stealth” parcel shelf and speakers. Looks standard.

As I said showing a few signs of wear and tear. slight bubbling to the bottom of one door. and scuttle panel. Usual cracks to the top of the dash.

Car is very fast and turns plenty of heads. but also very drivable in traffic with the organic clutch. engine runs like a dream. Only problem I find is battery goes flat if left sitting in the garage for a while.

As a 38 year old it costs me £180 to insure on a classic car policy.

Price = £6500 ONO.

I am negotiable. but please do not insult me. I am not that desperate to sell.

Please no part exchanges.

I will drive on the test drive. as long as you are a serious buyer.

Please email me with any questions or your number and I will call you.

Will take some more photos at the weekend.
