Amazing time capsule. 1961 Cadillac 62 coupe with only 20k documented miles. The previous owner purchase this car in 1974 and drove it sparingly until 1978 where sat in his heated basement garage for the next 38 years. I purchased the car from his son and proceeded to get it running and road worthy. The list is long! New brake cylinders. hoes. and master cylinder. new gas tank. and sending unit. new water pump. new heater core and rebuilt control value. new correct exhaust system. new correct tires (have the originals) complete tune up. I could go on. Now the car runs and drives like new! It's obvious this car has been garaged it's entire life. and never driven is bad weather. The car has no rust ever. and the original Dresden blue paint is beautiful with a few touch ups. The interior is all original and is in excellent condition and still smells like new. Most everything works great. The power windows work like new. as does the heater. radio (best AM radio I ever heard) antenna. Although the clock and wipers don't work. This car is gorgeous and stunning.
