1972 Impala Convertible. Has a lower mileage 454 BB and TH400 trans. This car was stored inside for around 30 years before it was brought back to life and titled about a year ago. A lot of work was done. The following is most of what was done. I've probably forgot a couple things.
- Front end re-done including ball joints. bushings. inner/ outer tie rod ends. etc. - new shocks- new brakes including master cylinder- new wheels and tires- gas tank removed and cleaned/ new sending unit installed- completely new drive shaft built- new gauges installed- new water pump. PS pump. fuel pump- new Holley 600 carb- new battery- near new radiator only briefly installed on another car of mine- belts. hoses. fluids- new Hedmon headers come with car. but not installed.
This is a dry western car. very minimal rust. there is some around the rear wheel opening and a small spot the size of a tennis ball on the drivers floor. The remainder of the floors. trunk. fenders. doors. rockers. trunk lid. hood are very nice. The frame and related underside don't even show surface rust.
This car can be enjoyed as a fun budget performance era big block convertible or finished out with the cosmetics. It runs and drives really nice. no noises. great oil pressure. runs cool. no smoke or anything. The car has had its canvas top removed but the mechanism is there and it goes up and down. It has a broken quarter window and is missing its visors. radio is also missing.   Needs the speedo cable hooked up but the speedo works.  I just put in a couple new mufflers myself so it would have sound better than open pipes. Sounds good but my work was not a thing of beauty.  It was kinda temporary until headers would be installed.
It has a cheap old paint job and like with anything probably looks better in the pics than it really does. Very solid car though deserving of some love.
I've had this on Craigslist and dealt with a bunch of jokers and I just want serious buyers so i'm listing here. Please be serious and I'll be easy to work with.  The reserve is $5800. very reasonable. I am not desperate for money and won't sell for less. Its a cool. different. nbsp;fun car for the money.
Additional pics can be provided of any area you want to see. Of course I am available for questions as well.  If youre serious actually talking is a lot faster than texting back and forth 50 times. My number is 970-222-8288.
Payment due within 7 days.  If your interested in shipping I can assist.
