Welcome to my listing. you've stumbled upon your next car!

I'd love to hang onto this awesome obnoxious blue WRX. but my family has outgrown her. and I just bought a 3-row glorified minivan. So unfortunately the scoobie must find a new home as I can't justify hanging onto a 3rd car!

I purchased the Subaru factory extended warranty in Dec '15. extending the factory bumper-to-bumper coverage for up to 5years and 50k mi once the original warranty (36k 3yrs) expires! Not that you'll need it. Subarus are renowned for their reliability and customer satisfaction. And this example hasn't let me down once. no matter the weather. nor how long she's sat between use.

As you can see from the low mileage. she hasn't gotten used up and worn out. She still feels plenty fresh. and as nimble and responsive as when I first took delivery. Just trips from Manhattan out to Long Island. or to the in-laws up in Albany. So in 3. 5 years of ownership that's only an average of 6800mi annually!

Never tracked never abused. used simply as s family hauler. or to zip to work 5mi away downtown. The bars on the front and back were installed for parking protection in Manhattan. not for rally-cross or off-roading. In NYC people use their bumpers instead of their eyes to park! So compared to other city cars. she's in fantastic shape! Plus the bars give her that element of rally-bred aggression encouraging evil-doers and zombie drivers to steer clear!

The only off-roading she's seen is the couple blizzards we've had in NYC. and the giant puddles on the Belt Parkway! LOL… which she slices through like a hot knife. trajectory unaffected!

I have summer tires on gold Sparco wheels and winter tires on the OEM Wheels and I'm happy to include both with the vehicle. Both sets of tires are in excellent condition with most of the tread present and fresh!!

Oil has been changed every 3k mi and I have all service records from Koeppel Subaru as well as all parts and floor mats that came with the car.  Clutch feels as progressive and tight as when I first drove off the lot. As a NASA Northeast instructor for HPDE. I am quite experienced with how and how-not to drive a manual car. having witnessed numerous driving students at events who simply don't know basic manual transmission rules of use. Folks. a clutch should last easily 75k mi. when driven correctly!

The engine. suspension. brakes and driveline as well as intake and exhaust are all completely stock and unmolested. I did add a Subaru Strut Bar to tighten up the front end. making her more responsive to steering input. as well as a chassis support brace. I left the anti-roll bars stock as I didn't want to sacrifice ride quality. Again. she was a family car and reliability and comfort were number one for me and the fam. Straight from the factory she is plenty quick. with 265 horsepower that honestly feels more like 300! I've owned several M3s and currently a 600hp Z/28. and this WRX. should you need the acceleration can hold her own!

And keep in mind. this is in ALL weather conditions. Rain. mud. snow and sleet be damned! With the winter tires she is a grip monster!! Super safe and confidence inspiring. Awesome growl from the engine and exhaust to boot! But not obnoxious.  The stock suspension on the WRX is one of the reasons. besides the $10k discount (!) that I opted for the non-Sti model… firm. yet compliant and forgiving around town. Sorry. but in a daily driver. nobody needs their teeth to be rattled out of their heads! Besides. the Z28 handles that department! lol!

I added in addition to the front and rear bumper. some under-body protective armor cladding. as I have a tendency to over-build my vehicles rather than deal with stupid stuff breaking. or them being broken by stupid stuff! The front skid plate connects directly to the ultimate light bar. and the 1/4” thick lightweight but strong aluminum protects the entire engine and oil sump. The rear differential cover is the same thickness and material and reinforces a known weakness underneath these AWD cars! So now. you can drive right over ice. debris or broken pavement worry free!

The off-road PIAA fog lights and CREE LED light-bar are available to light up back-roads in front of you. or if in need of extra visibility during severe weather. (or for when that idiot with the high beams coming towards you refuses to pop on his lows!)

Overall: wear and tear is minimal but to be expected in a car used for 24k mi she has a couple small superficial scratches and/or scuffs and dings. She was in a minor fender bender with a taxi that dented the driver side door and front quarter panel. fender and mirror but these were fixed by Subaru and paid by insurance and she was returned to normal condition. In no way did they affect chassis. simply aesthetics temporarily.

In this digital age of electronic Nannies. self-driving software and the myriad of other things that could possible go wrong - do yourself a favor and opt for the hardcore. old-school analog SIMPLICITY of this driver's car that is easily the most well rounded. rewarding. FUN and usable daily driver car I have ever owned!! I've owned three M3's (e36. e46. e92). an e39 M5. a GT500. a Boss 302. a Z/28. and several fords. Mitsubishis and Hyundais. This is the longest I've owned a car. and the most miles I've put on any. Knowing you're getting into a car that will start and growl happily along every time you turn the key is awesome. and every little commute quickly turns into your own private rally stage. should your imagination inspire you!

This WRX is overbuilt. fresh out of the blocks. very utilitarian (surprisingly roomy - lasted my family of 5 for 3. 5 years! somehow we always managed to squeeze all our crap in!! but now the kids are getting older and the strollers and toys larger!) You just can't go wrong with this ride!!

On Jun-13-17 at 02:36:50 PDT. seller added the following information:

Please note that the fender bender was a 3mph contact with the taxi. I was making a left as that moron was double parked on the left. So he decides to pull out right as I'm turning around him. It was literally the stupidest car to car contact I've ever witnessed. and Geico didn't even want me to wait for Police! The cab ended up settling to cover my insurance costs. and the accident was so non-severe that it probably won't even show up on carfax or autocheck.
