SHARP COLOR COMBINATION ON THIS MACH I! FITTED WITH M-CODE CLEVELAND POWERPLANT. 4-SPEED. AND TRACTION-LOK REAR END! DYNAMITE PERFORMER AND DRIVER! RESTORATION COMPLETED IN 2010! SPECIFICATIONS Year 1969 Make Ford Model Mustang Mach I Sportsroof VIN 9F02M171414 Mileage Exempt Engine 351ci Cylinders V8 Transmission 4-Speed Title Clear Color Royal Maroon Interior Color Black DESCRIPTION A new design was in store for the Mustang for 1969. both inside and out. It grew in overall size while maintaining the same wheelbase as the prior year. but was now 1. 5 inches lower to the ground. With 10 engine options available. and several special performance packages to choose from. Ford was not going to let many showroom buyers offer excuses not to buy a Mustang! A new Mach I package replaced the GT package as the premier performance option. This package automatically added a flat black hood with lock-down pins. reflective body side stripe. competition suspension. chrome wheels. color-keyed outside sport mirrors. and pop-open gas cap! It required the Sportsroof body design and nothing less than a 351ci V8 under the hood of course! Buyers flocked to showrooms to have one of their own!

This wonderful 1969 Ford Mustang Mach I is finished in factory code correct Royal Maroon (B5) with Black Mach I High-back deluxe bucket seat interior (3AA). Factory appointments on this example included an M-code 351ci-4V Windsor V8. 4-speed manual transmission. 3. 25 Traction-Lok rear axle ratio. power steering. in-dash tachometer. Visibility Group. Sport Deck folding rear seat. chrome 15” Magnum 500 wheels. and front spoiler! The 351 Windsor has since been replaced with a 351 Cleveland. The original AM radio has been replaced for a later generation AM/FM/Cassette player in the stock location.

Our Mach I sold new brand new from Kribs Ford Inc right here in St. Louis on April 25th. 1969. It never strayed far from home before heading to New Hampshire in May 2006 when purchased by its last owner. His meticulous care. and need to drive and enjoy this Mustang. resulted in a partial restoration that included a complete mechanical overhaul in 2006. and a professional repaint by 2010. Starting with a complete top end engine overhaul with professionally machined & rebuilt heads. new head gaskets. new Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake & 750cfm carburetor with electric choke. Pro-billet racing distributor. all new engine wiring harness. MSD 6AL digital ignition box. Blaster coil. & tach adapter. FPA custom ceramic coated headers. aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans. Flaming River steering box. Magnaflow mufflers. new Ultratorque starter. fresh Optima battery. new balanced driveshaft & u-joints. and resealed rear end with fresh hypoid limited slip gear oil! In 2007. the transmission was fully rebuilt with fresh gears. new synchros. resurfaced flywheel. new clutch assembly & fork. and transmission mounts. Brand new wheels measure 15x7 up front. and 15x8 at the rear were installed wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A's in 2008. Lastly. the exterior paint. and blacked out hood. were refinished in 2010 with new reflective body side stripe and weather stripping!

We are delighted to have this magnificent example on our showroom! It runs and drives excellently. and the brakes were recently cleaned. adjusted. and bled. The car remains wonderfully detailed under the hood. and the paint presentation is well above average for confident showing. The mileage on the drivetrain is approximately 2. 00 miles since the work was completed. It should continue to be an excellent driver candidate for its next owner who wishes to enjoy driving their investment as much as polishing it! Please feel free to call with any additional questions. or to schedule an opportunity to see this vehicle in person! We look forward to your business!
