This 1985 BMW 635CSi is a largely stock European-market example finished in red over tan leather.
 Imported from Germany just after it was built. the car was first owned in Atlanta and has spent most of its life in the Midwest.
 It was acquired by the previous owner in December 2014 and is powered by a 3. 5-liter inline-six paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Work carried out during the last three years included a new clutch master cylinder. driveshaft. idler arm. seals. and more as detailed below.
This E24 is sold with a binder of records dating back to importation and a clean Maryland title.

Cinnabar Red paint presents well for a driver. and records indicate the front bumper was refinished in 2012.
Flaws such as occasional dings and rock chips in the nose are shown in the photos below. and a quarter-sized rust blister noted in front of the right rear wheel well.
Black factory pinstriping is present including on the front air dam. and a rubber decklid spoiler is retained out back.

Small chrome Euro bumpers are matched by polished mirrors and door jamb plates.
Yellow high beams have been added and side markers has been installed in the rear quarter panels.
Two-piece BBS wheels wear Continental rubber from 2011 and 2013. nbsp;and original TRX wheels with tires are also included in the sale.
 A scratch in the windshield is described as above the line of sight.

Non-powered sport seats are said to be in good shape aside from the wear on the driver's seat (see photos).
 A carpeted cover is removed for photos detailing the condition of the dash underneath.
An optional electric sunroof is equipped along with power windows. though the right rear does not function properly.

A modern Bluetooth-equipped stereo has replaced the original. and map pockets have been modified to accommodate larger door speakers.
 An aftermarket subwoofer is mounted in the trunk along with an amplifier and a pair of crossovers.
Air conditioning was optional for the European market and is equipped here. but is not currently working due to a condenser leak .

The 3. 5-liter M30 inline-six was originally good for well over 200 horsepower in Euro cars. a healthy boost over US-market power output.
Shifting is via a 5-speed manual transmission. and the clutch master cylinder has been replaced during the seller's ownership along with the driveshaft. nbsp;front struts and steering idler arm.
All fluids and filters were also refreshed. nbsp;most recently during an oil and filter change in summer 2016.

Clean Maryland title in present owner's name ready for transfer.
