This is the rarer later model of which only 918 were made and don't let the higher mileage put you off this car has been well looked after and the engine is still silky smooth. very responsive and sounds fantastic.

I bought the car with 92k miles on the clock and the first thing I did was to change all the fluids including:-

·        Differential oil

·        Gearbox oil

·        Engine oil and filter

·        Power steering fluid

·        Brake and Clutch fluid

·        Radiator coolant

·        And even the washer bottle water

In the two and a half years I've had the car the oil and filter have subsequently been changed every 5000 miles or so using Castrol TWS motorsport oil. There are other Z3 M's advertised with less mileage (and significantly more expensive) but consider this they are very likely to need all the work that has already been done on this car (costing over £3000) including:-

·        New vented discs and redstuff pads all round with still plenty of mileage left.

·        New front and rear polyurethane suspension bushes.

·        New front suspension struts.

·        New rear road springs and shock absorbers.

·        Two new exhaust Lambda/Oxygen sensors.

·        Upgraded VANOS unit supplied and fitted by Mr Vanos.

·        New Pulstar iridium spark plugs http://pulstar. com/

·        Alloy Wheels completely refurbished (although there are now some scuffs from daily use).

·        Full wheel alignment carried out.

·        New Dot 5 silicone Brake and Clutch fluid which is non-hydroscopic and should never need changing.

·        New flexible brake hoses all round.

·        New front and rear anti-roll bar drop links.

·        Complete system decarbonising by mobile Terraclean unit which has improved performance. fuel economy and made the engine run significantly smoother.

·        Both sills have been removed and the inevitable surface rust inside and out has been cleaned and treated with Rust Bullet and stone chip – so no worries there.

·        Both rear wings have been removed and re-painted due to small rust bubbles in the paint – they look fine but could. honestly. do with a more professional paint job.

The driver's seat bolster has a little bit of wear commensurate with age and the rear plastic screen is a bit cloudy. The black hood is in good condition with just a couple of blemishes. The Michelin Pilot Sport 3's have 2-3 mm tread left and will need replacing soon but they have lasted two and a half years! The exhaust system is still great and will probably outlast the car. Overall this is a fantastic chance to own a fabulous example of a Z3 M which looks. sounds and goes beautifully!

I am also including some additional items in the sale:-

·        Roof down tonneau cover.

·        Brand new BMW OEM clutch kit – bought this ‘just in case' but the clutch is still spot on.

·        Two brand new lambda sensors – thought the car had four but it only has two pre-cat ones.

·        Four brand new oil filters.

·        12 brand new Pulstar spark plugs.

·        Two brand new flexible brake hoses – don't ask!

·        Various other new bits and pieces that I bought and never needed – again don't ask!
