This vehicle is powered by a stout Chevrolet 350 engine and shifted with a TH-400 3-speed automatic transmission. The power is directed to the rear wheels. via a Ford 9” housing. making for a notoriously trouble-free driveline. This custom cruiser is ready to stack on miles and miles of memories. car shows. and good times. A quick flick of the ignition will bring the 5. 7L V8 to a soft burble that only vintage iron can produce. and the custom exhaust system under the pickup gives an authoritative rumble. without causing its occupants to go deaf.
Now back to this paint. A multi-layer job was done to insure the deepest of shines was attained. The larger panels are broken up with custom pin striping giving even more of that old-skool hot rod feel. This is one bad truck. and it knows it! Chrome is minimal. but really helps tie in the whole design of the car without making it seem gaudy or overdone. Squeezing yourself in the cabin will reward you with a fantastic driving experience while being pampered with an extremely soft leather seat. The controls are minimal. but well placed. and the Dolphin gauges are large enough to be easily seen without seeming disproportionate from the rest of the vehicle.
