RARE UNRESTORED 1943 FORD GPW JEEP

This is a rare find. an original ‘43 Jeep that has not been restored and is rust free.   This GPW has matching body and frame numbers with its original data plates.   The Ford engine is from a GPA amphibious Jeep so is not original to the vehicle but a very rare find in itself.   The body tub is rust free. has not been welded and has no repairs. there are a few digs and dents as you would expect which only help to give the Jeep more character.   This Jeep also still has its original wiring and even its dash insulation pad and filterette. All bolts. seats. wings and pintle hooks are F marked.   The tow bumper is original and still has its tandem towing instruction plate on the dash.   The Jeep was repainted many years ago and now show a nice used patina.   The seat covers are a couple of years old and came from Beachwood Canvass in the USA.   I have just fitted 5 new firestone tyres.   The Jeep starts. runs and drives very well.

In the 20 years I have been collecting Jeeps this is one of the most original I have come across. I have a collection of 32 WW2 Jeeps that I have collected over the last 20 years all in various conditions. which I am now having to sell due to loss of storage. so most of these will be listed on ebay in the next few months.   Please phone me during office hours for any further information.                                   I am always happy to talk Jeeps.
