This is a number's matching well documented Jerry MacNeish/ Hi-Performance certified automobile (For those who do not know MacNeish. he's a world renowned Camaro expert.   Please Google him!)

Paint Condition: Excellent. rare Sequoia green paint with black SS hockey stripes. stripe position very good.

Interior condition: Excellent. original door panels with new front seat covers. rear seat covers and console. original

Engine Bay: Excellent. restored to new condition. very good attention to detail

Under carriage: Excellent floors and trunk that are restored to new condition

**Transmission: This car was (recently) equipped with a modern 5-speed Keisler “perfect fit” transmission (drives like a modern car/great acceleration and highway) – Original Saginaw transmission is included in crate.

Power Steering

Brakes: Front brakes were converted to disc for safer quick responsive braking.  

Tires: New BF Goodrich steel belted Radial T/As (Complete Red Line Bias Ply tires included)

Rims: Cragar S/S period correct rims (original rims and hub caps w/mounted red lines included)

Power Convertible (new) Top

Radio: Antique Automobile Radio: Looks like the original push button radio. however this is a modern digital tuning AM/FM radio with included iPhone charging auxiliary link (play satellite radio or Pandora from your phone)

Speakers: Modern two speaker new install for the original dash speaker location / removable rear floor speakers for a full rich sound (no cuts have been made to original panels).

Bottom line: If you are looking for a numbers matching very original Camaro. look no further than this RS (hideaway headlights) beautiful example.   I've enjoyed this car for several years but have purchased others more recently and am reluctantly putting it up for sale.   This is an investment quality car that is not offered at a “trailer queen price” that can be driven and enjoyed.    Additions of modern transmission and disc brakes along with the original power steering makes for an enjoyable driving head turning experience.
