Alfa Romeo GTV 6 for sale UK car registered in 1985.   This car has been extensively renovated by the current owner who has owned the vehicle since 1996 and only covered a total of 76k miles from new. The vehicle was subject to a full restoration where all affected areas were treated with new metal fabrications and a complete bare metal re-spray in Alfa Romeo red (Paint ref AR30). and then fully waxoyled in all the key areas. The gearbox was rebuilt by BLS in Lincoln as were the cylinder heads.   The suspension was rebuilt using a Harvey Bailey kit comprising a thicker front anti roll bar and Bilsteins all round.   The wheels have been replaced with a modern Team Dynamics 7 X 17 maintaining the correct wheel offset. but I have retained the original Alfa alloys in case someone in the future wishes to return to the factory spec.   As you will see from the photo's the underside is totally solid and very clean. The exhaust system is stainless steel. The interior is finished in charcoal and is all very good. and includes a factory sunroof. fish net seats. and electric front windows and electric door mirrors  The car has been dry stored (dehumidified during the winter) and kept under a dustsheet during my ownership. and needless to say there is no rust or fading.

When I last used the vehicle the only outstanding job that I wished to pursue was refurb the prop shaft and re-balance. You will notice from the photo's I have replaced the rear lights with units from an earlier model. simply because I prefer the look of them. Again. I have the original 1985 spec items if the new owner wishes to maintain originality. swapping the clusters over is a few minute job.

Those in the know will appreciate these are fine cars. which go well. sound great and handle even better.   A reluctant sale but due to many changes in family circumstances. and starting a new business and operating from home I now need some additional garage space and  wish to sell. preferably to an Alfa enthusiast.

The vehicle is offered on a “buy it now”/”make me an offer” basis.   I have just re MOT'd the vehicle which it went through with just a couple of minor things to sort - 2 bulbs and a loose wheel arch liner to re-attach. these have been done and the vehicle now has a 12 month MOT.

 This car can only appreciated in value. I wish I could justify keeping it.   £6000.

I'd very much like to come and view your lovely GTV as soon as possible please. I am a Kiwi on secondment in UK for the past 4 years and own a 1975 Spider 2000 Veloce back home. Missing it badly! This looks and reads like a great car. I live in Winchester and am happy to travel to Somerset this week to look at the car.
