This is a beautiful example of a European spec 1984 BMW M635 CSI. The henna red over pearl beige interior is a very desirable color combination.  The M88/1 engine was modified for use in the M635CSI. this engine was known as the M88/3. The Kugelfisher fuel injection was replaced with Bosch Motronic and the engine produced 286 hp (213 kW) and 251 ft lbs of torque.  It has a compression ratio of 10. 5:1. Five speed manual transmission. This vehicle runs and drives excellent.  This M635 CSI has all original body panels as well as original paint job and interior.  
Vehicle was imported to the united states in October of 1984. Service records from 1991 to current included.  
BMW Motorsport introduced the M 635 CSi in Europe at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1983. It is essentially an E24 powered by the powerplant of the BMW M1 - the M88. Most of the cars were equipped with special metric 415 mm diameter wheels requiring Michelin TRX tires.
