Selling my 1972 Nova that was recently completed after an 8 year $42K restoration process. This car has had an extensive restoration. It is now essentially a new car. Restoration included removing frame and stripping the entire car down to bare metal top and bottom. inside and out. A lot of metal was replaced as I cant stand the sight of rust. There is zero rust on this car above or below the paint. Panels that were replaced included rocker panels. door panels. rear quarter panels. trunk drop downs. wheel wells. rear cross rail. tail panel. trunk lid. front fenders. drivers floor pan and hood. Trunk pan was repaired as a replacement was not being reproduced at the time. All original metal that was kept was brought down to bare metal as was all the new panels. Undercarriage was stripped entirely to bare metal and coated with eastwood undercoat paint. Firewall was smoothed. The car was prepped. primed. and painted by an expert professional. The paint is flawless. The drivetrain consists of a new 350 crate engine with 11 to 1 compression pushing 420hp 440torque mated to a new TKO650 5 speed transmission to a new dennys drive shaft to a new eaton posi with new 373 gears in a 12 bolt rear end with C clip eliminators and welded tubes. The rear suspension is a new custom 4link QA1 coil over suspension that hooks up beautifully. Fully welded tubular frame connectors. All steering components were replaced or restored. New front disc brakes and new rear drum brakes. Power is put to the pavement with new aluminum torque thrust 2s. The interior is completely new including fully restored seats with new foam and new covers. Every part in the interior is new including all panels. trim. all glass. dash pad. headliner. sail panels. carpet. sill plates.   She has an Ididit steering column and a beautiful wooden steering wheel. All exterior trim is new including all the lights and badges. All brake lines and emergency brake components are new. Accessory drive is a March Performance serpentine conversion kit. Radiator is aluminum. Wiring harness is a new Painless harness. Speaker wires have been run but no speakers installed as you couldn't hear a radio anyway. Fuel lines are new. gas tank is new. Bumpers are new. Door handles are new. Interior of the doors were stripped. painted and window mechanisms rebuilt. There is not a single screw or bolt that was not restored or replaced on this car. I am sure I am missing some of the new pieces or restoration detail as there is just to much to list. This is now a NEW car. Gets a lot of looks at the shows and is a blast to drive. Things that were on my list to do but I never got around to would be to install a new dakota digital gauge cluster and to install the wiper motor. Wires are run for the wiper motor just have to bolt it in.
