The Rover SD1 was produced from from 1976 to 1986 and is considered the last true Rover prior to production shifting to rely predominantly on Honda engineering. Featuring the final incarnation of the iconic GM based 3. 5L Rover V8 and design inspired by the Ferrari Daytona. the SD1 was European Car of the Year in 1977. This 1984 two owner country Victoria fuel injected SE is in remarkable original condition having only travelled 123. 63 km. Sold new by J. J. Dwyer Garage in Bairnsdale on the 16. 8. 1984. this SD1 was in the same ownership until recently and comes with original owner manuals. Mastercare booklet and spare keys. The body is very straight with no rust and the interior is excellent with carpets. seating. dash and hood lining all in first class condition. Mechanically sound. there are no oil leaks and the ride is nothing short of brilliant. An emerging classic. good SD1s are becoming very hard to find. excellent drivability and style make them attractive collector cars.

where is this vehicle located and is it still for sale?

from WAYNE TUPICOFF, dated 08 april 2019
Hi , Just wondering if this vehicle is still available, also what is the condition of the paint as the photo of the roof looks dull. The other thing I am wondering is the A/C does it still work as it should ( want to make sure the A/C does nor go from face vents to floor vents when under acceleration indicating there is a vacuumed leak under the dash. Is the vehicle roadworthy . As I am in Qld I would not require it to be registered but would not want to incur extra cost to get roadworthy. Last question at this stage what would be the cost to ship to Brisbane.
Regards Wayne.
