This is my own 2002 and has been completley restored. It has also been modified for track days or fast road use.

A brief list of the modifications

Engine.

 

Modified e30 318i Head. Lightly ported. 3 angle valve grind. H/D valve springs. Shirck 292' camshaft.

M50 Throttle body. Siemens 330cc/min injectors. Modified e30 plenum and fuel rail.

Early tii high compression bottom end. e21 oil pump. 4 branch manifold. 2. 5inch fabricated exhaust.

Urethane engine mounts. Baffled Sump & 13 row oil cooler.

 

Transmission / Drive / wheels

H/D Clutch. Lightened 215mm flywheel. E21 5 speed overdrive ‘box. prop shortened to fit. E21 3. 91 LSD. Early tii 5J x 13 Steel wheels with Yokahama AO48's. / Avon ACB10

 

 

Brakes

Rear:  e30 discs and Callipers (can't remember which pads?)

Front: Girling 4 pot callipers (originally from Volvo 240. a common upgrade) with e21 vented discs

22mm e9 master cylinder. Servos deleted. KuNiFer pipes. Goodridge flexi hoses. DOT 5. 1 Fluid. Bias valve & Hydraulic handbrake.

 

Suspension / Steering

Bilstien B6 sport dampers. HD springs (cant remember the lb's)

Front fixed –ve camber top mounts & lower –ve camber platee.   -2. 0 degrees.

Rear trailing arms from an e21 modified for the 02 spring location & ARB's

Fully poybushed.

19mm ARB's

Front sub frame modified for a Talbot Lotus Sunbeam steering rack.

 

Body

Seam welded in engine bay.   inner wings. Chassis rails and bulkhead tied together.

Rear arches modified to accommodate the wider track of the e21 arms.

 

Fuel. Ignition. ECU

E30 318i in tank pump. Bosch inline pump. swirl pot. Under bonnet pressure gauge.

Ford edis coil pack. Megasquirt 2 Extra ECU.

 

Other

Battery relocated to boot. Safety devices Half cage.  e21 recaro's . Petri Steering Wheel. Extra gauges. oil temp AFR etc.

I have a massive history file for the car. This includes parts and service history from the original owner right up to when I bought her.


I do have the original seats. they are in perfect original condition. I also have other parts which will be available to the new owner including the correct early front panel and grill set.
This car was built with care and patience and with attention to detail. It is reliable and quick. it has an impressive parts list and looks period.
