IN MY OPINION THIS IS A 1971  CORVETTE LT-1 COUPE AND  HAS BEEN SITTING FOR YEARS. I BELIEVE THE THE MOTOR TO BE THE ORIGINAL ONE BEST TO COME JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. IN MY OPINION CASTING NUMBER IS CORRECT DATE LOOKS TO BE RIGHT HARD TO READ FRONT PAD WAS DECKED WHEN THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT 10. 00 MILES AGO. MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND CAR WILL LOT DRIVE VERY GOOD MUNCIE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION. CARPET WAS REMOVED TO KEEP THE MICE OUT OF THE CAR YEARS AGO. LT-1 CORVETTE HAD VERY FEW OPTIONS AVAILABLE  THIS ONE  HAS RADIO DELETE  HIGH RED LINE TACH   FACTORY RALLY WHEELS   WITH GOOD TIRES. EXHAUST SOUNDS GOOD AND MOTOR RUNS EXCELLENT. CARB JUST REBUILT.   BRAKES ARE WEAK FROM SITTING. PAINT IS WEAK THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT CAR  WHEN YOU ARE DONE IT HAS GREAT VALUE. THESE STEEL BUMPER CARS ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND. THIS CAR IS PRETTY COMPLE YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO RUN AROUND LOOKING FOR PARTS.

I have had  some calls about  the condition of the frame    it is excellent   very solid   some surface rust I put a couple of frama pictures it is a solid mid western frame if you are up north or back east you will love this frame   needs nothing. call with questions .
