1981 Dodge Royal 150 extended cab 2wd pickup

This truck is located in Calgary. Alberta. Canada.   . nly about 3 hrs north of Montana.   Because of it's age and "Antique" status. it is free to travel to travel without restriction worldwide.
(PLEASE DO NOT WRITE TO ME ASKING WHAT IT NEEDS TO GET INTO THE STATES.   answer is. it needs nothing). This pickup can travel from Canada to the States almost as freely as a bird from state to state. I've sold our vehicles to the U. S. and some worldwide now.   There's been zero problem.
Check my feedback.
Each one has been for a vehicle sold to the US or worldwide.
Not a single satisfactory sale.
EVERYONE'S BEEN OVERJOYED!!!

Oh. should mention.
My wife's become pretty great at setting up easy shipping for people that have bought our cars.
She has a little system now and. she'll be happy to help you out.

Super LOW MILEAGE. 2 owner pickup.

These generation Dodge pickups are beginning to be somewhat rare.     More so they are becoming somewhat difficult to find in decent condition.
They are especially difficult to find with this kind of mileage.
ONLY 22. 36 miles.

I've never heard or seen another Dodge truck of this generation with this kind of mileage.   It's irreplaceable really.   As such. I have laboured for many months with the decision to sell.   Since last fall. in fact.   I've tried to list it a few times now but. hadn't.   Even photographed it twice.   But. here we are.   And. so here we go.   It is officially up for sale.

When we had bought this truck. it was from the elderly nephew of the original owner (who kept it after his passing).   The gentleman that owned the truck ran a large cattle ranch in a very rural area.   The nearest town was the sort of place where everyone knew. or at least knew OF. everyone else for many miles in any direction.   One of the things I found most interesting was that he'd apparently kept everything he'd ever bought.   Not so odd. except when you consider that he bought a new truck every several years. and a new sedan every 2 years.   All the vehicles he had were Chrysler products. and nothing but.   Evidently. there were a LOT of them.   The fellows at the town garage bought up most of the older items.   As a matter of fact. nearly everyone that was a bit of an auto or machinery collector in the area got some form of vehicle or tractor from his estate.   This particular truck was kept by the gentleman's nephew.   He picked it out for himself early on (before the public sale).   Afterwards. he kept it stored it in a shed. and never used it.   Only running it occasionally to keep fluids circulated.   When I heard about this truck. I pursued it vigorously.
Since having it delivered home. we have used it a total of (+/-) 47 miles.
Here's a few other highlights:From where the truck lived. it was about a 15 minute drive to the nearest town. and about 45 to the nearest city. ALL the mileage is highway!  As mentioned.   Only 22. 36 miles. Speedo is in MPH and KMH (kilometres-per-hour) but. the odometer is in kilometers. It reads 35. 96 kms. which is exactly 22. 36 miles. I can attest to this vehicles mileage.   I am fascinated by. and collect low mileage automobiles.   I've made many wasted trips to see proclaimed low mileage vehicles that were a lie. with turned-over 5-digit odometers. THIS IS AN ALL GENUINE 22. 36 MILE PICKUP. I have ALL documentation. receipts. and provenance.

Now. just to clarify.    I call this a 2-owner truck but. use that term relatively loosely.   As briefly mentioned. I haven't driven it even 50 miles.   That's it.   It's been parked with our little collection ever since.   I'd planned on maybe using it here and there but. alas.  we hadn't.
The biggest reasons I originally bought the truck are:
-Well. obviously the mileage is a BIG reason.   The mileage makes this truck both truly remarkable and exceptional.        -Because I really like these generation Dodges. nbsp;       -I am VERY fond of reeaally low mileage vehicles from the mid '60's. nbsp;thru late '80's.        -The color (orange and tan) .   just stunning in the sunlight.                    -Plus. such a quintessential '70's/'80's combination.   Love it !!!
       -It's rarity.
-It's originality.                    -Only thing ever changed are tires (only due to age). nbsp;and battery.
       -It's fully documented history.
-And (as explained to my wife) as a kinetic investment.   :-)

We've sold quite a number of our classic cars.   13 on here in total.   Please check my feedback.   You'll see comments from 13 overjoyed buyers.

Condition:
This is not a restored vehicle.   Also. this is not a vehicle of dubious history that has been tampered with.  Personally. I prefer unrestored vehicles 100/1.   They've beat all odds.   Unrestored original vehicles are true classics and valuable collector pieces in my eyes.   They call them "survivors".   I call them valuable.   Also. I call them difficult to find.   Their unique blemishes and character flaws are their pedigree.   This truck. being over 35 years old. certainly has it's pedigree.   It's not perfect but. it's perfectly nice.   As expected. it has a few blemishes but nothing typical.   I think it's in pretty great condition considering.   Still. I'll play on the side of caution and describe the unit as a 1/10.   Inevitably. people's perspectives vary. and I'll eliminate all confusion.  There's hardly anything for rust.   Just some light paint flaking in a couple areas. and a tiny perforation behind each rear wheel opening in the very lower area -- where it's easy to fix.   I hadn't.   I couldn't bring myself to tampering with it's authenticity and originality.   Asides from this. there's very little to mention.   I've collected cars for many years and it takes a bit to impress me.   I've kept this around for a reason!  I even kept the aluminum running boards (as much as I dislike them).   I just couldn't disturb this truck at all from it's "found" state.   As mentioned. and to be on the safe side. I always tend to rate anything I'm selling as a 1/10 in condition and appearance.   Please assume this truck is the same.   As a seller. I'm a bit of an odd duck.   Top dollar is never my objective.   I'd rather have a happy and enjoyable transaction (once again. please see my feedback).   I would encourage anyone to come view in person and invite any 3rd party appraisals.   Please review the photos carefully.   I am not a professional salesman or photographer but. have tried my best.   My feedback is an excellent resource.   I have a darned good record of making people happy so far. and have absolutely no intent on tarnishing that reputation.   Any questions. please write.   I invite all inquiries and look forward to answering promptly.

Good luck fellow enthusiasts. and happy bidding!
