Current customer rating: (636 votes ) based onThis is a 1969 Datsun 2000 Fairlady roadster that I have owned since 1977. This car had a frame-off restoration and the frame and components were repainted and many suspension parts were replaced. The body was stripped. and all rust issues repaired. Metal work was done followed by body work. All dents removed. all stress cracks repaired. Body was painted with doors. deck lid and hood off of vehicle. Two-stage paint applied followed by a clear coat. The car starts. runs and drives extremely well. The engine sounds amazing and accelerates beautifully. This roadster idles perfectly. no smoking. leaking. overheating or strange noises.
The clutch engages just like it should and shifts through all the gears effortlessly. The brakes. steering and suspension all operate like they should. All mechanical. electrical and climate control systems operate correctly. The blower works as do all other systems. The radio does not work. The odometer calculates mileage correctly. All controls and levers are functional. There is some minor rust on the front apron. which can be seen in the photos.
This car includes a spare set of Mini-lite style wheels. a car cover and many spare parts.
