 This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E was recently donated to a local charity and is for sale on their behalf. While it does run and drive. there are a few cosmetic issues and the acceleration is rough so we are offering it as a parts or project car. The paint looks good. and should shine up with a little detailing. but there are a few dings and a more severe dent in the right rear corner. (see photo) There is also a crack forming on the passenger side of the windshield. Inside. there is a tear in the driver's seat bolster from years of entry/exit. and the headliner is beginning to sag. The power accessories all seem to work but the AC is not cold.   Mechanically it starts and idles well. but when accelerating it stutters and sometimes will stall. The check engine light is illuminated and it will need some research as to what is causing this condition. All books are included. Maintenance book shows services up to 155K. A rare Porsche developed Mercedes-Benz that could be had for a very reasonable price if you're a bit handy and familiar with these cars. NO RESERVE
