                Here we have for sale a very rare 1969 Mustang GT sportsroof.

We have just brought the car over from the US for my son. who wants to build a 'Overhaulin' style modified 69 Mustang fastback. but have decided it would be criminal to do it to this rare GT.

A total of only 5. 96 GT's were sold in 1969. which includes hardtops. convertibles and sportsroofs. as the GT model was dropped early in 1969 in favour of the Mach1. (of which 72. 58 were sold!)

The car is a restoration project. Work was started by the previous owner in the US. the floors. torque boxes. rear frame rails and boot floor will need doing. The floor pans have been cut out and new floor pans and seat boxes have been temporarily put in place. for shipping. There are also new front floor supports and boot floors supplied with the car. The engine and transmission was loosely put together and in place for shipping. The engine is dismantled for rebuild. it has an Edelbrock intake. Holley carb. chrome sump and chrome valve covers etc.

The car needs restoring and is obviously not a couple of weekends work but it is a great project and a very rare car that will be worth a lot of money once done.

The car is at my workshop in Barnston. Essex. CM6 (15 mins east of Stansted airport) and would need to be viewed/collected from there.

The car will need to be collected by transporter or trailer.

I could possibly arrange delivery. through a friend who does recovery/transport. at cost if required. (The car and transport cost would need to be paid for in full before delivery).

Overseas buyers welcome subject to agreement.

The car is advertised elsewhere so could be removed from sale at any time.
