Sadly selling my beautiful Stingray to fund a family orientated A class motorhome or sailing yacht above 25 feet. such is life and priorities!! So if you have either for sale let me know and I will buy yours and you mine so as not to undermine EBay rules.
The car was imported new into the UK in February 78 and has covered less than 30. 00 miles since then. I have the original warranty book. mot`s from new and letters confirming the mileage from each of the past 6 owners. It was last purchased at Bonhams auction from the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009. the estimate was £10- £14. 00 without mot or tax. It is now in better condition than then.
She drives superbly. starts first time every time and there are no rattles or shakes. The paintwork is very good. no body damage. The interior is very good although naturally showing some signs of age. There is a small mark on the drivers velour/ vinyl seat and some small wear on the passenger carpet in one place? Original over mats. The engine bay has not been detailed. Serviced locally before the last mot. Good tyres. full stainless exhaust system.
This car is completely original except for a few useful upgrades which were made at time of import such as individual manifold pipes. carb. ignition. rocker covers. etc. All with the purpose of making it run better. It even has the original 8 track player (stopped working recently but still lights up!) and loads of 8 track cassettes. The targa tops have their storage bags. I have never tried the cruise control. Corvette Club UK reckon chassis number indicates an October 1976 manufacture date of sequence 1958. engine assembled 19/08/76. but as I say. imported new to the UK in February 78.
Original owners manual. and information about the Holley carbs etc. all present.
