Keeps up with modern motorway traffic with no problem.
Automatic 4 speed! gear box change gears nice and smooth
Straight six cylinder engine. multi point fuel injection!!  very smooth. plenty of power and torque starts first time. keeps right temperature. Just works as a Merc engine should
front &  rear brakes & callipers  overhauled .
All internal features work fine (except the gear indicator  cable  is  broken I think.    The vinyl around the sunroof requires clipping back up. nbsp;                               The Sun roof is working ok)
Mechanically sound
All interior in very good original condition.
Good tyres.
Body work very solid. A True classic very rare this days.
Great investment for a car enthusiast who wants to put in a bit of time and effort in.

The Mercedes-Benz W108 and W109. styled by noted automobile designer PaulBracq. ere built in Stuttgart in what was then West Germany. rom1965 until 1972. The 108 and 109 Chassis Mercedes Benz vehicles are thelasttruly hand-built S-Class Mercedes vehicles (aside from some current AMGmodels). The 108 and 109 vehicles were also the last vehicles with the famousclassic“Mercedes look” – stacked headlamps. curvy bonnet lines. and a verylarge frontgrille. To this day. many people can still recognize a 108 or a109′slines as distinctively Mercedes. This Mercedes is the 250SE witht he 2. 5 liter fuel injected engine and an automatic gearbox.
