WOW This Great '55 Chevy would look great in YOUR driveway!

A Double Barn Find. Many years ago. my good friend found it in an old shed/barn where it sat alone for well over 10 years. It had a repaint long ago and could use another but this is a Nice. Driveable Classic 55 Chevy with lots of safety and power upgrades already done.

My friend let it sit for another 2-3 years or so after adding Power Disc Brakes & Corvette Rally Wheels. a 350 Crate Eng w/Headman Headers & a built 350 Turbo & Floor Shift. redoing the interior w/65 GTO Bucket Seats. New Carpet & Door Panels. Replated the Bumpers & New Bumper Guards. He would start it and run it every month so nothing bad would happen. (A Cylinder Compression Gauge still shows 150 pounds in Every Cylinder!!)

I got it out of his shed (barn #2). cleaned off the 1/2in of dust & pigeon crap and. to get it road worthy. I bought a long list of Brand NEW & Aftermarket parts including: New Gas Tank. Sending Unit. Fuel Pump. Filter & Lines; New Side Stainless Trim; New Grill; New Taillights & Bezels; New Headlight Stainless; Interior Speedometer. Speaker Grill & Trim. and gobs of other stuff. We installed Leather BMW 6-way Electric Bucket Seats so disregard the pics with the GTO seats (they went into my GTO).

Floors & Trunk are in real good. solid condition with maybe only alittle surface rust. All the glass is tinted & good (except small crack in driver's door glass). The Brand NEW Windshield and Back Window were Professionally Installed w/NEW Rubber Gaskets & Trim. The Trunk got a new rubber seal -- There are NO Water Leaks Anywhere in this car. UPDATE: Added some pics of underbody and you can see it's as solid as the pic of the inside of the trunk trunk floor shows. The peeling undercoat may look like cracks but there is NO rustthrough in the floorpans - the undercoating has saved it! >>>A nice solid 55<<<

This is an original Manual Trans car & still has the small Brake Pedal and Swivel Ball Bracket that was Welded to the frame in 1955. My intentions were; add a 4-speed and have a 55 just like I had in the late 60's but. I decided to stay with the 65 & 66 GTOs I have now. I did get a Clutch Pedal and a Black 59/60 Impala Steering Wheel (like I had in mine) to complete the interior. Only needs new shift boot and there are a couple small tears in the top of the back seat.

So there it is – probably the best deal you can get on a Complete. Running. drivable 55 Chevy 2 Door Post just like you want. Most of the stuff you would have done already has been done and problems already solved. Repair a few minor spots – typical minor problems like over the headlights. door corners. etc. Sand. Prep. & Paint it whatever color you want (mine was 69 Z28 Rally Green).

I must cut back on my toys so. Now it's your turn. Please Understand: The 65 GTO Buckets in some pics are NOT Included – The 6-way BMW Electric Bucket Seats are NOW installed (pics don't show the side trim but they are now complete). Also. the 255/70/15 Rear and 215/75/15 Front Tires Look Great and Hold Air -but- they've been sitting and may need replaced soon.

Like it?? Make me an Offer. I might surprise you. I'll consider any reasonable offers and/or partial trades (no trucks or bikes). You'll either get a great 55 Chevy or we'll both have a good laugh. Please put your phone number in your 1st Email with any questions and/or offers (check Knoxville CL for mine). Thanks for all the interest & several trade offers.

A 500. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 2 days of the end of this auction and BEFORE arriving to pick up and/or ship this car - even if paying in cash (which is preferred). This proves you are a serious buyer and not wasting my time. Bidding is not for permission to decide if you want it and does NOT give you any rights until payment in full is made and accepted by me.

Payment in full is required within 7 days but "YOUR NEW 55 Chevy" can then sit here. protected. for 30 days (longer if necessary & requested). Once paid. I'd love to drive it to you but. if you hire a shipper. I'll gladly help with loading or we could possibly meet part way if that will help.

So… if you don't BUY IT NOW. It will soon be in someone else's driveway.
